UCW Meltdown – October 31 – Wednesday Night
Action Zone
As the opening strains of Guns’ N’ Roses’ Welcome
to the Jungle blast from the screen, we are shown brief highlights from last weeks edition of UCW Meltdown. Sting began the
show with his choice for No.1 Contender at Devils Night, and first, rejecting Randy Orton, then choosing Kurt Angle, but finally
offering Samoa Joe perhaps the best offer of all, and a match for the UCW Title at the end of the night. LAX then explained
that they have given Team 3D a final match for the Tag Titles, for revenge in their very own speciality of a Tables Match,
coming at Devils Night. Triple H was then set to defeat Kenny Dykstra until VKM showed-up at ringside, causing HHH to lose
concentration ending in a DQ before VKM began to attack, leaving The Game lying in the ring with the letters…VKM…sprayed
across his back. Christian Cage then presented the Peep Show with Special Guest The Monster Abyss, but when Cage and Tomko
teamed-up to beat down The Monster, the lights cut-out, before Abyss then vanished and a message from the Undertaker appeared
for Cage. Finally in the main event, with Kurt Angle having been made the Special Referee, following a decision by stand-in
GM Melina, Sting & Joe fought back-and-forth, before Sting applied the Scorpion Death Lock but Angle was distracted only
for Sting to break the hold and confront Kurt, before Joe put The Icon in the Kokina Clutch, and eventually as Sting tapped,
Angle called for the bell to DQ the UCW Champion! Bringing anger to the face of Joe, but as Joe chased Kurt out of the ring
and away, Randy Orton slid into the ring and attempted to take Sting down with his RKO, however Sting countered and sent Orton
out of the ring, as the pair then locked eyes.
Following the opening of the show as Meltdown goes live to a worldwide
audience, we join JR & King at ringside for an introduction to the events we have coming-up, JR says…“Ladies
and gentlemen, welcome to the Wednesday Night Action Zone, with JR and the King, and tonight we have one hell of a show lined-up
for you…” King says…“That’s right JR, tonight we have the UCW Tag Team Champions LAX, in action
for the first time since returning ahead of the Tables Match at Devils Night!” JR says…“Plus we have recorded
comments from Team 3D regarding Devils Night, their mind-set going into this Tables Match and also their honest opinions of
LAX…” JR says…“Also tonight, we will see VKM in action, as well as a huge main event, when Jim Cornette
allows Christian Cage & Tomko to decide amongst themselves, which one of them goes 1-on-1 with the Undertaker, live tonight
on Meltdown…” King says…“JR, I still wanna know what happened to Abyss on last week’s show,
because somebody that BIG cannot simply vanish into thin air, but where did he go?” JR says…“I have no-idea
King, but right now JB is backstage with Jim Cornette…”
We then cut away from ringside to join Jeremy Borash outside of the
GM’s office, saying…“JB here JR and, following last week’s controversial UCW Title Match, tonight
Jim Cornette has promised a HUGE announcement regarding Devils Night…” JB then knocks on the door to the GMs office
and we then hear Cornette yell… “Come in, it’s open…” But as JB opens the door and enters into
the GMs office, Cornette is sat behind his desk with Melina standing up-against the far wall and, Cornette says…“Why
did you do it? What were you thinking? It was ONE week… Kurt Angle is NOT a referee, he is a WRESTLER…what were
you thinking about?” But as JB enters and Melina has no answer for Cornette’s words, Cornette says… “Well,
I guess I’m gonna have to fix this situation myself…JB, please take a seat.” Then as Borash sits down in
front of Cornette’s desk, the GM continues to say… “Now, as you may have notice, when I was away last week
a few things happened! Sting picked Kurt Angle as his opponent for Devils Night…but then following that, someone decided
to sanction Sting’s challenge to Samoa Joe for the UCW Title, nothing wrong with that…but as Melina made the call
that the winner of that match, Sting vs. Samoa Joe, would meet Kurt Angle at Devils Night for the UCW Title and, that’s
a problem because…thanks to Kurt’s decision to DQ Sting in that match-up, Samoa Joe won the match…and so,
Kurt Angle should face Joe at Devils Night, however the rules state the UCW Title only changes hands via Pin Fall or Submission,
meaning the belt stayed with Sting…and giving me a headache in the process…But, now I have a solution and the
only fair way to settle the issue is this…the only way, Kurt Angle can face the winner from last week…and still
receive a UCW Title Match, is for Kurt to face both Samoa Joe & Sting…at Devils Night in a Triple Threat Match!
And now JB, if you’ll excuse me…I have things to do, but keep up the good work…” And as JB leaves
the GMs office, in the background Cornette starts at Melina again, while JB closes the door behind him as we cut away to re-join
JR & King at ringside.
MATCH 1 Voodoo Kin Mafia vs. London & Kendrick
With London & Kendrick already in the ring prior to the arrival
of BG & Kip James, the Voodoo Kin Mafia come down the ramp full of confidence and ready for battle, receiving heavy boos
from the Action Zone crowd following their actions last week, attacking Triple H and beating him down before spraying ‘VKM’
across his back, leaving The Game lying prone and motionless on the mat as they made Crotch Chops. But in no time at all VKM
show how they made their name as a successful Tag Team with a display of smash mouth style-action, dominating their high-flying
opponents from the start, before settling the pace to maintain quick tags and control of the match, isolating the faster and
more athletic London & Kendrick with solid Tag Team work. But following a brief rally from Kendrick, who manages to out-manoeuvre
BG James, causes a minor miscommunication for VKM, Kip then becomes angry and tags in, delivering a hostile beating to Kendrick
and then London in equally brutal regard. VKM then continue to fight on despite a further brief rally from London & Kendrick,
as Kip James eventually connects with his patented Fame-Asser finisher on London, while BG nails Kendrick off the apron, as
Kip scores the 1-2-3-count for the victory. However, as Kip & BG James both scale the turnbuckles to celebrate their victory,
they draw a hostile response from the crowd as they celebrate with Crotch Chops, again mocking the crowd and stepping down
from the turnbuckles to share a high-5. But with the jeers growing louder as Kip continues to mock, BG calls for a mic, saying…“Now
since me and Kip showed-up in UCW, we have made an impact… Making statements, dealing with issues and last week, we
also took out the garbage. Although do NOT let that distract anyone from our main goal and our main focus, namely the UCW
Tag Team Titles…and proving we are still the very BEST around. But, considering the competition on Meltdown with LAX
tied-up with Team 3D and, 3D tied-up with LAX, those Title Belts will have to wait until AFTER Devils Night… which still
leaves VKM free AT Devils Night…and in need of some real competition, so with that said…Hardy Boys, if ya want
a title shot, you’ve gotta go through VKM. But, when we get our shot, whether it’s Team 3D or LAX who have those
titles, beware at all times because when VKM have a target, we will strike hard and fast and, if you need reminding…take
a look what we did to our previous target, last week…”
Then, as attention turns towards the Big Screen, as last week’s
footage begins to play, once again showing VKM’s domination of Triple H, beating down the King of Kings, before spray
painting…VKM…across his back and leaving him lying motionless and, as Kip & BG begin to laugh while the crowd
jeers, suddenly the shot now changes, showing Triple H as he snarls with disdain, looking directly into the camera screen.
Then, as the crowd cheers and BG & Kip stunned with shock, HHH begins to speak, saying…“I find it very interesting,
that you would pick this week to make a statement. Maybe because you thought I was gone, you thought you had taken me out
of action? But it will take more than that to stop me, it will take more than that to keep me away! Now I warned you about
crossing my path, and now you will be made to pay a price, but unlike you, I won’t be jumping you from behind, I won’t
out-number you 3-on-1, and you will not have to wait for it to happen…because I want you to see it coming… So
if you still have the guts, then both of you just meet me in the ring later tonight, where we can settle things once and for
all...No Talk, No Distractions and No Rules, because one-way or another…the Bullsh*t Ends…and tonight…The
Game Begins…”
And as the image of Triple H fades from the Big Screen and the crowd
cheers, meanwhile in the ring with VKM left to consider the possibilities of this challenge, we now cut away to join JB backstage
with Matt & Jeff, the Hardy Boys, saying… “Matt, Jeff, recently you returned to Meltdown following a leave
of absence, defeating Team 3D only to suffer at their hands when you Jeff went through at table. Now, last week you came back
again, running down to the ring to attack Team 3D, making your intentions clear as LAX arrived on the scene…You want
a title shot… But with VKM calling you out, clearly seeking the same, the competition is fierce…” Matt then
says…“JB, with no disrespect to BG & Kip, right now it seems like VKM have other things to consider, but we
will not allow that to distract us from our goal. Team Extreme, Matt & Jeff…The Hardy’s…are coming for
the Tag Team Titles…” Jeff says…“But at Devils Night, we will be supporting Team 3D for one reason,
because Doomsday was our night and we beat Team 3D, so if they get the job done, becoming Tag Team Champions…our victory
over them, puts us FIRST in line…” Matt says…“And JB, when we get the opportunity, we won’t
let anybody down, because we know what it takes to win…and we are willing to RISK everything!!!” Jeff says…“LAX,
Team 3D, VKM…or ANYBODY else, in any type of match, expect the unexpected…because Team Extreme are here and we
want the BELTS!” And as Matt & Jeff depart the scene, JB now prepares to hand back to JR & King, saying…“Team
Extreme sounding confident and determined to find success and, along the same lines…later tonight we will here comments
from Team 3D as well, plus I have just been told that The Icon Sting will address the Action Zone crowd, concerning last week’s
controversial title defence against Samoa Joe and more…” But, JB is then interrupted by a very angry, very aggressive
looking Samoa Joe, saying…“JB, as far as Sting is concerned…he can talk all he wants to these fans, because
I will do my talking in the ring…at Devils Night, now…where is Kurt?” Then JB says…“I don’t
know Joe, I haven’t seen him yet…But in a few minutes…” But before JB can finish, Joe turns his back
away and heads off in search of Angle, leaving JB alone while we cut away back to ringside, for our following match-up.
MATCH 2 Latin-American Exchange vs. Cade & Murdock
LAX! With Homicide & Hernandez receiving an overwhelming crowd
reaction, coming through the curtain displaying the UCW Tag Team Championship Belts, Hernandez hanging his belt from his vest
and Homicide draping his around his neck, both men enter the ring and signal to the Action Zone crowd with LAX hand signals
ahead of their first in-ring action since suffering at the hand of Team 3D last month, before Cade & Murdock arrive and
face the brunt of the crowds displeasure as usual. And following the bell Cade initially attempts to intimidate the smaller
Homicide, however the rugged Texan soon learns that Homicide possess the speed advantage. And, despite the dirty tactics used
by Cade & Murdock, their experience as a team means nothing as Homicide is able to take advantage of a mild-miscommunication,
enabling him to dive towards his corner and earn a hot tag to his partner, Hernandez. And as the big man enters the ring,
the match turns around as his power soon shows. And while he cleans house on Cade before nailing Murdock down and off the
apron, Homicide quickly climbs to the top rope as Hernandez picks Cade up, off his feet, lifts him high into the air and drops
him down to the canvas with the Border Toss, Homicide comes crashing down on top of Cade with an elbow off the top turnbuckle,
before Hernandez then kneels down to make the cover on Cade, earning the victory. Homicide & Hernandez then get their
hands raised in victory before sharing a high-5, and making LAX signs with their hands, acknowledging their supporters in
the crowd.
Backstage again, this time JB is joined by Christian Cage and Tomko,
as he asks… “Christian Cage, Tomko…we are only moments away now from the BIG match, however there is still
a question to be answered and, as stated by Jim Cornette, following last weeks interference during your Peep Show segment,
I must ask you, which one of you two have you elected to face the Undertaker…in our Main Event?” Cage then says…“Undertaker,
wherever you are right now…take a good look… Because this is the man who is going to destroy you…with his
very own bare hands! Now, JB…last week when the Undertaker stuck his nose into my private business, there and then he
became a problem…and so tonight he will face my Problem Solver! My Best Friend, my No.1 Guy, my Trump Card, the baddest
man in UCW…Tomko!” Then as Tomko and Cage share a high-5, showing their unity, JB quickly asks… “Well,
now my second question also concerns last week and, The Monster Abyss, because he will surely have REVENGE on his mind, considering
what happened?” Cage then says…“On his mind? Let me tell you what is on the mind of Abyss now… NOTHING!
Because he has no mind, Abyss is an IDIOT who can’t think for himself! He had the chance to step-up, to make a name
for himself, but he just couldn’t do it, instead he made an enemy of Christian Cage…and last week he paid a heavy
price, but even Abyss isn’t STUPID enough to show-up for more of the same, this week, because if he does…this
time I won’t be so EASY on him, and neither will TOMKO. But next, the Undertaker will face his DESTROYER and the end
is coming soon…” Then as Cage turns to leave, Tomko looks deep into the camera and slowly says… “Undertaker…Tonight
is My Night…and you are nothing but a Dead Man Walking!” Before the image of Tomko fades and we re-join JR &
King at ringside once again.
IT’S SHOWTIME! As the arena lights dim and attention turns to
the entrance way, electricity fills the Action Zone and the noise throughout the arena is truly deafening, as The Icon Sting,
our proud UCW Champion, once again makes his way to the ring. Coming down the aisle wearing his long black trench coat and
full black ring attire and familiar painted face, with the beautiful gold UCW Championship Belt slung casually over his right
shoulder, The Icon pauses on the ramp as he looks around, seemingly deep in-thought and not appearing to be his usually charismatic-self
but, after climbing through the ropes and accepting the enthusiastic cheers of the crowd, although some-what reluctantly as
he still seems to be slightly subdued and troubled, the Stinger then claims a mic and, after spreading his arms and embracing
the fans, Sting begins…“Night after Night…Week after Week, I get the thrill of my life, because to perform
in front of you people and hear your reactions…means everything. But to be your champion, means even more…and
to know what this belt represents, the blood, sweat and tears, the hard work and sacrifice…is what makes me feel alive!
But in this business there are good days and bad days and last week I had a bad day, but it didn’t start there…it
started back a Doomsday, fighting back through the pain, even in victory I felt like I let myself down…and I needed
the chance to put it right. Choosing Kurt Angle as my opponent for Devils Night gave me that very chance, only later that
night…lightning struck twice…and I almost lost everything again and, for the second time I left the ring, holding
the UCW Title, but feeling like a failure… now if I’ve learned anything over the years, it’s that life is
always what you make it, but recently, I had to look in the mirror and ask…‘Stinger…Have You Still Got It?’
Maybe it’s time to hang-up the boots, retire the face-paint and hand over the title…” But as a gasp of shock
fills the crowd, followed by an eerie silence, Sting continues… “But after much soul searching I had a revelation
and it hit me…and it hit me hard, like a beacon of like at the end of a dark tunnel, I found the answer to my question…
Because we all face failure, but everyday that I hold this title here is truly a blessing, every morning I wake up
as the UCW Champion, is a gift…and I choose to fight on… So for all those GMs, those commentators and fans who
never doubted the Stinger, I’ll continue to stand by you if you stand by me, but to all those who did doubt me…
Beware the Devils Night…Because a Storm is Coming…and It’s Showtime, folks!!!”
HEY, NOTHING YOU CAN SAY! But as Sting begins to energize the
live crowd, suddenly the arena becomes bathed in a golden glow and jeers now ring throughout before Randy Orton makes his
way out onto the stage, pausing on the entrance ramp, wearing casual blue jeans and a ‘Legend Killer’ T-shirt
and holding a mic in hand. And, as Sting locks eyes with Orton in disdain, Randy smiles and begins by saying… “You
know Sting, you’re right…to be UCW Champion is indeed truly a blessing… But you’re also a hypocrite,
you come out here and you preach about soul searching, but in reality…You Tapped Out TWICE…and on another day
you would have lost, twice…once is a fluke, twice is a habit…and you deserve to be stripped of that title! Or
better still, if you truly are a man of honour, then you would relinquish the title, and you would hand it over…to someone
a little more deserving, someone like me…” But as jeers begin to ring around the Action Zone for Orton, eventually
Sting says… “Randy, about a week ago the OLD Stinger may have considered that an option, however the NEW Stinger
says…If You Want This Title…Then Come And Get It!” Then as the crowd cheer and Orton now begins to advance,
slowly towards the ring, Sting steps back to allow Orton space to enter, and Randy now rolls into the ring, getting to his
feet and now standing a few feet away from Sting, Orton steps forwards, but as he does Sting stops him, raising his arm and
pointing his bat directly at Orton, saying…“Now that’s far enough…You’ve got balls Randy, I’ll
give you that at least! Everywhere I look, there you are…Last week, I turned around and there you where, tonight there
you are again…and I understand that you’re PISSED at me right now, but I’ve got problems of my own…like
a Triple Threat Match at Devils Night, defending the UCW Title against both Kurt Angle & Samoa Joe at the same time and,
I could CRY about it, but instead I’m gonna fight…So I don’t have time for this… But I don’t
need another enemy either and, by stepping into this ring with me now, looking me in the eye without fear…and by confronting
me like this man-to-man, you’ve proved your point…but I don’t have time to keep looking over my shoulder,
wondering when you’re gonna show-up, looking to take me out for a shot at the title... So just get off my back, stay
outta my way and let me handle things at Devils Night, but after that, if you can wait that long…I will make sure you
get what you deserve! I’ll talk to Cornette and I’ll get you a UCW Title Match, with ME at Final Conflict, but
you’ve gotta watch my back, until Devils Night… Now what do you say Randy, can you keep your gun in your holster
until then, or do we still have a problem?” Slowly Orton considers Sting’s compromise and, the crowd are silent
and unsure, Orton says…“Sting, we don’t have a problem, we have a deal…until Devils Night…”
And as the crowd remain hushed, but with some jeers and some cheers being heard, Sting drops his ball bat and extends his
right hand to Orton, who accepts the offer, smiling to himself and shaking hands, as Sting then pulls Orton in close to his
face, saying…“If You Screw Me…You’re History…Just Remember, an Eye for an Eye!!!” And
as Sting releases his grip on Orton’s hand, Randy quickly rolls to the outside, getting to his feet and backing away
up the ramp, as Sting picks up his bat again, pointing it directly at Orton as he backs away, holding his arm and looking
concerned, as Sting locks eyes with the Legend Killer while the crowd cheers and we cut away.
Following this intense stare down in the ring, as Sting & Orton
remain transfixed, backstage we now re-join JB with Kurt Angle, looking calm and relaxed, as JB says… “Kurt Angle,
having just witnessed the previous confrontation on our monitor here, what are your comments as you prepare to challenge Sting
for the UCW Title again, but this time…in a Triple Threat Match with Samoa Joe, coming-up at Devils Night?” Angle
says…“Ya know what JB, Sting gave me a Re-Match for all the right reasons, he knows that I was the BETTER man
at Doomsday…and he admitted it himself but, now it seems like Sting is side-tracked by Randy Orton…and he’s
losing his focus. Now when a guy like Sting has his head elsewhere, his body will be easy picking…” But before
he can finish, Angle is now interrupted by an aggressive Samoa Joe, saying…“Forget about Sting, Kurt…You
need to worry about staying alive right now! Last week, I had Sting BEATEN and the UCW Title WON…and now I blame YOU!”
But Angle says…“Joe, you can blame me all you want, but what happened last week, was exactly what happened to
me at Doomsday…I had the UCW Championship won, but the reality is that we both made Sting TAP and we’re both in
the same position, with nothing to show for it…So either we can pick-up where we left off last month, beating the hell
out of each other like we have since Meltdown started, or maybe… We can join forces and team-up to take Sting out before
he even gets to Devils Night! And with the Stinger out of the way…then we can settle things between ourselves…
Angle vs. Joe…One More Time…Winner Takes All…For the UCW Championship!” And as JB looks on as Joe
seems to be considering the offer from Angle, Joe says… “Kurt, I hate you…And that will NEVER change…but
for now, I’ll think about it…” And as Angle then smiles and turns away, JB now looks at Joe, before asking…
“Honestly Joe, you cannot be serious about this…Teaming-up with Kurt Angle?” Then Joe says…“JB,
I say Keep Your Friends Close…But Your Enemies Closer…” And with those words sending shock through both
JB and the crowd, we cut away.
MAIN EVENT Undertaker vs. Tomko w/ Christian Cage
DOOMSDAY! With Cage & Tomko having made their way down to the ring,
awaiting the arrival of the Undertaker, the live crowd erupt with shock and surprise, as attention turns to the entrance way
and The Monster Abyss makes his entrance, coming down the ramp with his focus on Christian Cage, as Cage & Tomko look
on. And with Abyss nearing the ring, Cage hides behind Tomko as Abyss comes close, before The Monster climbs onto the apron
and then steps easily over the top rope, entering the ring as Tomko steps forward towards Abyss, while Christian bails out,
only for Abyss to beat Tomko to the punch, connecting with a stiff, solid right hand, followed by a kick to the gut, before
rolling to the outside and in pursuit of Cage, while Cage himself is now over-come with fear and quickly leaps the guard-rail,
heading off into the crowd as Abyss steps easily over the guardrail into the crowd, giving chase of the Instant Classic as
Cage makes his way out of sight in the crowd, with The Monster in hot pursuit as the crowd cheers these violent actions of
Abyss. But meanwhile back in the ring, with now Tomko recovering from Abyss’ attack, suddenly the arena lights cut-out
and we hear a single bell tolling in the distance and, then amid some deafeningly loud cheers and a tumultuous roar from the
live crowd, with Tomko now looking on, the Undertaker begins to make his way toward the ring, moving slowly and coming to
a stop at the foot of the ramp, he locks eyes on Tomko. Then, with the live crowd still deafening with cheers, Taker pauses
ever so slightly before turning and making his way very deliberately up the ring-steps onto the apron, before slowly raising
his arms and in so doing, brings light back to the Action Zone before stepping through the ropes and then slowly removing
his famous hat and coat. The ref then brings both men together in the centre of the ring for his instructions and, as the
bell rings and the match begins ‘Taker’ chants immediately begin in the crowd. Both men then take a few steps
back before raising their hands and beginning to stalk each other, as Undertaker begins with a left jab, while Tomko just
ducks to avoid it. And as Tomko slowly moves away, the Dead Man swings once again, but also misses and as Tomko again moves
away attempting to frustrate Taker and play things safely, Taker again lashes out with a wild swing, as Tomko ducks and connects
with a chop, drawing a gasp from the crowd as Taker swings again, but with Tomko again ducking he now begins to grow in confidence
and connects with a kick to the mid-section before a stiff chop to the chest and a solid right, although Taker brushes these
off, coming back with a stiff uppercut to the throat of Tomko, badly winding the Big Man. And now as Taker begins to dominate
the match, scoring with several power shots, eventually taking Tomko down with ‘Old School’ from the top rope,
as well as his patented Flying Clothesline, with Tomko down, the Dead Man rises one arm aloft, signalling to the crowd for
a Choke Slam, but with Taker having his back to the stage, as he throttles Tomko and attempts to hoist him off his feet, the
referee is distracted, as Christian Cage comes running frantically through the curtain and down the ramp, looking over his
shoulder for The Monster Abyss, as the Undertaker turns his head briefly, allowing Tomko to counter with several rapid-fire
elbows behind the head, breaking the Dead Man’s grip as Cage arrives at ringside, still watching for Abyss, while Undertaker
staggers back and into the ropes, before setting himself again and turning as Tomko hits the ropes for momentum only to run
into the a high Big Boot, sending him down again. And now, with Tomko down and looking quite dazed, Undertaker drags him up
and places him in position for the Last Ride manoeuvre, however as Taker prepares himself to hoist Tomko up, the referee is
distracted again, as Cage now climbs onto the apron, distracting the Dead Man from the Last Ride and, with Taker distracted
Tomko now takes advantage, digging deep for a high backdrop, elevating the Dead Man up and sending him down to the canvas,
flat on his back and, while Taker arcs his back, Tomko turns around and Cage enters the ring to join him, as they both begin
to put the boots to the Undertaker, as the referee calls for the bell, ending things in a DQ as Cage & Tomko begin a vicious
beat down on the Dead Man. And with Undertaker down, as Cage instructs Tomko to drag him back up to his feet, Cage connects
with a right hand deep into the gut of Undertaker, badly winding him, sending him down to one-knee before Cage then drags
Taker up by the hair himself, as Tomko hits the ropes and scores with a Big Boot to the head, sending Taker down. And as the
crowd begin to jeer, with Undertaker suffering a brutal 2-on-1 assault, Cage rolls to the outside as Tomko now continues to
stamp down on the Dead Man, before Cage now returns to the ring having claimed 2 steel chairs from ringside and, with Taker
down in the centre of the ring, not moving at all and unable to stand, together Christian & Tomko now position themselves
either-side of the Dead Man, each now in-possession of a solid steel chair, as they wait for Taker to move and, while boos
and jeers ring around the Action Zone as Tomko and Cage re-think and,
Cage instructs Tomko to place his steel chair underneath the head of
Undertaker, before Cage raises his own chair high above his head, getting ready to swing and preparing to connect with the
Dead Man and take him out with the Con-Chair-To…
DOOMSDAY! But for the second time tonight, as attention turns to the
entry ramp, the crowd erupts to welcome The Monster Abyss as he makes his way down the ramp, coming once again for Christian
Cage, as Tomko and Cage curse their luck again. And, as Abyss arrives at the foot of the ramp, climbing onto the apron, as
Cage waits, brandishing his chair as Abyss steps easily over the top rope, Cage swings the chair, only for Abyss to counter
with a solid right hand, knocking the chair from his hand, before Tomko attacks The Monster, connecting with a stiff kick
to the mid-section, attempting to send Abyss into the ropes, as The Monster quickly over-powers him, sending Tomko away into
the far ropes and then throttling him around the throat, before Cage reclaims the steel chair and smashes
it across the back of Abyss. However, as Abyss releases his grip on Tomko, he simply turns to face Christian, showing zero
effects from the chair shot as Cage attempts to swing for Abyss again, only for The Monster to counter by throttling Cage
around the throat one more time, forcing him to drop the chair as Tomko now charges towards Abyss for revenge, before The
Monster reaches out and also throttles Tomko firmly around the throat, and with both men throttled, suddenly the Undertaker
sits-up to a HUGE cheer, getting to his feet and locking eyes with The Monster Abyss and, as both men stand, Undertaker runs
his thumb across his throat to signal that the end is indeed near, before Abyss, surprising the entire crowd, shoves Tomko
towards the Dead Man, while Taker catches Tomko with a stiff boot to the gut and throttles him by the throat, before Abyss
& Undertaker join forces to raise both Cage & Tomko off their feet, then dropping them firmly to the mat with a simultaneous
Choke Slam combination, while the crowd cheer and The Monster & the Dead Man now stand face-to-face, united for a single
moment, as the Action Zone crowd enjoys with unlikely event…
THE FIRE BURNS! But as a deafening explosion and an inferno of towering
flames indicates the arrival of Kane, Abyss now changes his focus towards the stage area, turning his back on the Undertaker
as both men focus attention on the entrance way. But when the Big Red Machine fails to appear following this apparent distraction,
initially some sinister, demonic organ music begins to play and on the Big Screen, these ominous words are displayed amid
the towering flames for all to contemplate…
The Fire Still Burns,
And The Memory Remains,
Soon To Be Avenged,
And Bring Forth His Return…
And with both left to consider the meaning of this statement,
Abyss roars with anger, while Undertaker remains still and silent, showing no emotion or reaction at all and, with Abyss stepping
easily over the top rope and leaving via the entrance ramp, Undertaker stays in the ring, seemingly deep in thought, as we
eventually cut away.
We then cut away from the live action, to footage of Team 3D from earlier
today, interspersed with action from their recent matches and exchanges with the LAX, Hardy Boys and their love-hate relationship
with the crowd, as Brother Ray says… “ECW, WCW, New York, Japan, Team 3D have DOMINATED the
entire world! UCW was next, but we came here on a promise of Tag Team Championships and, those titles were stolen from us
by LAX…But Jim Cornette allowed it to happen… Devils Night is the end of the story, the TABLE is set and the FINAL
ACT is coming! Devils Night is our specialty, a Tables Match and, this is our FIGHT by our RULES, no fluke 1-2-3 counts, no
dirty LAX tricks this time…Only VICTORY for Team 3D. Devon and I have divided and conquered HOMICIDE & HERNANDEZ
once before, now we have what we want…and with the GOLD comes the RESPECT we deserve! Hardy’s, VKM…You can
all get in line, when Team 3D reigns supreme over UCW, you will all pay us the RESPECT we’ve earned, as the Greatest
Team in the World!” And Devon says…“Oh My Brother…TESTIFY!!!” As the footage soon fades away,
with Brother Ray & Brother Devon snarling into the camera lens, we now cut away.
Following these comments from Team 3D, we now re-join JR & King
at ringside and, JR says…“What a night it’s been King and, coming-up next we have the showdown! Triple H
has called-out VKM to meet him in the ring, to settle things once & for all!” King says…“JR, we’ve
seen it all tonight, from Sting & Randy Orton shaking hands, to Samoa Joe & Kurt Angle forming an agreement…plus
Abyss & the Undertaker!” JR says…“Well King, I’m just hearing in my headphones, that next week
will see, two huge matches take place, as The Monster Abyss goes 1-on-1 with Christian Cage, plus Sting & Orton will team-up
to face Samoa Joe & Kurt Angle in a Tag Match!” King says…“Wow! The surprises just keep coming with,
Devils Night getting closer, but I wanna know what Triple H is thinking…calling out VKM, 2-on-1 like this?” Then
JR says…“King, over the years I’ve learned never to underestimate The Game. He was not called the Cerebral
Assassin for nothing, because he always has a plan!”
We are then shown a brief promotional vignette for the next time that
UCW action will be featured live on PPV, when Meltdown & Infest both combine once again to present: – UCW Devils
Night…Live only on Pay-Per-View…Sunday 11 November.
TIME 2 PLAY THE GAME! And as we return to the Action Zone the crowd
erupts, as the arena is bathed in a dark green glow and the sounds of Motorhead reverberate, signalling the entrance of Triple
H who makes his way down the ramp with a purpose. Coming to the ring dressed in casual blue-jeans and an official King of
Kings T-shirt, The Game then climbs up onto the apron and spits his water out into the front row before stepping through the
ropes and calling for a mic, to address the sold-out crowd. And with audible-cheers echoing all around for the Multi-time
World Champion, Triple H allows the cheers to subside, but as he appears ready to address the crowd…
911-EMERGENCY! And as the now familiar music plays out over the sound
system, BG & Kip James make their way through the curtain and, as they advance to the ring, drawing jeers from the crowd
and disdain from Triple H, BG holds a mic in-hand, saying…“Triple H…You BETTER CALL SOMEBODY…Because
you’re about to get your ASS kicked by the soon to be UCW Tag Team Champions of the world!!! The K…to the I…to
the Pizzle, the B…to the G…to the Jizzle, Voodoo Kin Mafia… VKM! And while The Song Remains the Same, Now
It’s Time to Play the Game, Jack so Don’t Talk Back…Just Listen to the Smack…While You’re on
Your Back!” But as VKM continue to advance down the ramp, they pause as The Game speaks, saying…“Ya know
what? That’s really cute, but I’ve got news for the two of you… Remember earlier when you said you’re
free at Devils Night? You’re not anymore! Because before I came out here, I stopped by Jim Cornette’s office and
got a match, against you…for me and my PARTNER…and although you said I have no friends, things have changed and
since a spot opened on the roster, I think I have ONE now!” But as the crowd cheers in response to The Game’s
words, BG now looks at Kip, before both men slowly begin to advance down the ramp towards the ringside area, with BG saying…“Devils
Night is one thing, but now this seems like a different time, a different place and you’re ALONE right now…blowing
smoke up your own ASS!” And while Triple H remains in the ring, removing his T-shirt but retaining his mic, BG and Kip
both climb onto the ring apron, as The Game stands his ground, saying… “Oh I have a partner and, he’s been
waiting for this match to happen for a long time, but I haven’t had a chance to tell him about it, so seeing as you’re
both out here now, maybe you could tell him yourself…and also I kind of owe you guys an apology, because I might have
misled you, when I asked you both to meet me out here tonight, I said I was coming to meet you in the ring, but I never said
I was coming ALONE…”
I’M JUST A SEXY BOY! And with VKM now standing on the apron ready
to enter, as things look bad for Triple H, suddenly the mood changes as the live crowd erupts, when the world-famous music
begins to play and SHAWN MICHAELS soon follows, running through the curtain and down the ramp, as BG & Kip can’t
believe their eyes, with Michaels wearing blue jeans and an official ‘Meltdown Showstopper!’ T-shirt, following
the initial shock, Kip James now quickly drops down from the ring apron, meeting the Heartbreak Kid on the ramp and swinging
a wild right hander at him, until HBK blocks it and comes back with a right hand of his own, followed by a left and then a
barrage of stinging knife-edge-chops, while BG James only looks on, becoming distracted before Triple H steps forwards, connecting
with a right hand, nailing BG down off the ring apron to the floor at ringside, both dropping their mic. And as Michaels takes
it to Kip, The Game follows BG outside and slams his head firmly against the side of the ring, as HBK sends Kip crashing into
the ring steps. Then as both men drag their foes to their feet and roll them into the ring in-tandem, together The Game &
the Heartbreak Kid slowly milk the response of the live crowd, following in after BG & Kip before dragging both men to
their feet at the same time, sending them both into the ropes and taking them down with simultaneous backdrops. And with the
crowd loving every moment, while HHH & HBK now share a high-5, BG & Kip arch their backs on the mat before Michaels
& Triple H drag them both up, backing them into the ropes, before backing away and then charging forwards again, sending
both men up and over the top rope with huge, powerful tandem clotheslines, with both Kip & BG crashing down to the hard
floor at ringside, flat on their backs. And as HBK & Triple H now accept the cheers of the crowd for their in-ring actions,
with BG & Kip staggering to their feet and slowly backing away up the entry ramp, the re-united pairing of Triple H &
Shawn Michaels stand firm and tall in the ring, sharing another popular high-5 before turning to face the VKM duo on the ramp
and, executing several patented Crotch Chops to the great pleasure of the sold-out crowd. Then with VKM standing on the stage
looking enraged, HHH & HBK step forwards, climbing upon separate turnbuckle posts, crossing their arms high above their
heads, and signalling the shape of an ‘X’ as Meltdown prepares to go off the air, JR says… “We begun
this night with the promise of a confrontation between 3-former friends, but we have witnessed the Re-Formation of something
bigger than Meltdown itself!”
