Before the show gets underway we are shown highlights fromlast week as Sting comes out and delivers a moving speech, before then calling out Robert Roode. But instead of getting the match he seeks, Jim Cornette puts him in a 3 on 1 handicap match against the Christian Coalition, and says that anyone who interferes will be fired. Chris Jericho picks up the win over CM Punk,while Batista comes out and says about his dissppontment over his match with Kane, and that he wanst to put things right. Jim Cornette then tells him he will get that chance at Revolution….in a match that will be chosen by Kane. And in the main event, Sting is more then holding his own until the official is knocked down, and a three on one assault ensues. John Cena then comes int to make the save, and cause a DQ as the official comes too. Jim Cornette then comes out and tells Cena is fired, when suddenly familiar music hits and Jeff Jarrett comes out. Ensinuating that he is the new Interim GM, he tells Cena that he is not fired, before smashing his trusted guitar over the head of Cornette. We then roll to the opening credits to the theme song ‘Enemy’ by Fozzy.

As the show goes live to the world amidst an explosion of pyro and light, the cameras pan around the sold out Infest Asylum as the crowd is awash with replica t-shirts and signs of all the Infest superstars.

‘IT’S MY WORLD!’ The fans in the Asylum get to their feet to welcome the introduction of Jeff Jarrett, dressed in jeans and a shirt, he makes his way down to the ring. As he enters the ring he is handed a mic. He then waits for the applause to die down before speaking. “One year ago…..I made my way to this very ring as a competitor….as one of the guys looking to help start UCW. But then something happened in my life…a tragedy that has been well documented…..and I must say this past year has been the worst in my life. Gill was always a rock for me…..someone that was always there when I needed it most. She was the one who encouraged me to sign a contract with UCW….and she was so happy to see me come out here and do what I do best. So my decision to walk away was hard…..but I couldn’t invisage carrying on without her in my life. I had a lot of support during this past year, both from all of you fans…..and from guys in the back….and guys I have known during my career. But onething that has kept me sane other then my three children…was coming back to work. I may not have been out here….but I was certainly working backstage….working on the promotional side of the company. I worked on several projects…including the recent highly successful tour of Europe. But then the day before No Remorse….I get a call. I get a call from UCW Mnaagement telling me that they can’t trust Jim Cornette to run both shows….and they want me to take over Infest for the time being. Now I had to think anbbout it hard…because I had sworn that my time on this side of the cameras was done….it was over. So I made a few calls and spoke to a few people and they all said the same thing. They said ‘Jeff…..we’ve missed you and it would be great to see you back.’ My mind was made up……..and so I rany UCW maangment back and gave them my answer….and here I am…the new Interim general Manager of Infest! So with that all said……now it is time for me to addresd two pieces of business. Thre first….is to reiterate the fact that John Cena has not….I repeat NOT….been fired. He is still a member of the UCW Roster….and I can guarantee you he will be in action tonight. The second piece of business requires someone to be out here….so Robert Roode……why don’t you come down and join me!!”

‘MONEY!’ After a few moments the music hits and Robert Roode comes out on stage, dressed in a Gucci suit and accompanied by Michelle McCool, he makes his way down to the ring. She then holds the ropes open for him, and after he enters the ring, she hands him a mic. “Jeff Jarrett…welcome to Infest. You are just what we need….another washed up old has been coming in here to push some young hungry guy out of his spot. Well that’s just great!!” “Are you done? I didn’t call you out here sp that you could throw your toys out the pram….I invited you out because I have something important to tell you. Now if my memory serves me correctly…..at Saturday Night Showdown….you somewhat fortuitously beat Chris Jericho to become the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. But then over the past month, you have stepped aside and let Kane chalenge for the gold. Now I have had a look at the rule book….and despite this….you are still officially the number one contender…owing to the fact you have not had a championship match yet…or lost it to someone else. But it was the latter part of this that got me thinking. You see Robert….I was alaways taught that in the business if you want something….you eanr it. And if you want to keep something….you fight as hard as you can to do so. You Robert…..you have done neither. So at Revolution…we are goingt to see just how badly you want to keep your title shot….because you will be putting the number one contendership on the line. And you are going to do it….against the Icon Sting!!!” Roode starts going nuts with anger at this announcement. “What? This is a joke. You are here two seconds and already you are trying to screw me over. What the hell has Sting done to deserve my opportunity? I am Robert Roode dammit…..you should eshow me some respect. In fact you not what…the hell withn you Jeff….I am out of here.” Roode then turns to leave but is stopped by Jarrett. “Hold on there one second Robert….I wouldn’t go too far….because you will be in action tonight. Remember I told all these people a few minutes ago that they would see John cena compete tonight? Well they will…in the main event….against you!!!” Roode can’t believe it as he rolls out of the ring, going crazy and hitting everything in sight as Michelle McCool tries to usher him up the ramp.

We then join the ‘Professor’ Mike Tenay and JBL at the announce table. “Folks, welcome to the latets edition of Infest….and what an empahtic way to start the show John.” “Emphatic…..you mean down right disgusting Tenay.” “If you say so John. But for all those watching with common sense, we have just hear that Jeff Jarrett is officially the new interim General Manager…and he has already dropped a bombshell on Robert Roode….telling him that at Revolution he will defend his number one contendership against the Icon Sting!!! But that is not all…because tonight Robert Roode will be in action in our main event….against John Cena!!!” “Tenay…can’t you talk about something else….I am bored of this already.” “You would be John. But folks, that is not all as we have more in store for you tonight. Christopher Daniels will be in action as he takes on GWA star Chavo Guerrero who is looking to impress Kevin Nash with the X Cup on its way. We also know that Daniels has a major announcement to make.” “Tenay…..no one cares. But what they do care about…is the fact that one of Infest’s brightest stars….MVP….returns to the Asylum tonight…and I personally can’t wait.” “Neither can Chris Jericho, who says he ha s a special welcome home Highlight Reel arranged for Montel. And aslso tonight World Heavyweight Champion Batista starts his preparation for Revolution….as he takes on Meltdown’s resident psycho…Snitsky. But the question remains…just what stipulation will Kane choose? We hope to find out tonight!!”

‘BIG SEXY’ With both men in the ring, the music hits and Kevin Nash makes his way down to ringisde where he takes a seat at the announce table. “Kev, you are welcome as awlays to the announce table. I take it this is another scouting trip? Have you had more applications?” “Tenay…..they never stop coming. Guys like Abysmo Negro……….Ultimo Dragon and KENTA have all applied….and Chavo there has sent in about 5! The X Cup is hot property…..and either one of these two guys in the ring could fiind themselves in it….or even winning it!!” Inisde the ring, Chavo looks to try and can an early uppherand, but it is Daniels who gians momentum ash he whips Chabvo hard into the ropes, and then as he comes stumbling out, Daniels connects with a jumping sidekick. Daniels continues to look string until he goes to the top while Chavo is trying to get up. Chavo then uses the ref to help him and he knocks the official into the ropes, causing Daniels to fall. Chavo then goes on the offensive as he tries to wear down Daniels. But as the match progresses, Daniels finds a way back in, evening it up with an STO. It could then go either way, but eventually Daniels delivers the Angels Wings to pick up the victory. With that done, he then rolls out of the ring and takes hold of both a mic, and the MITB briefcase. He then returns to the ring to speak. “AJ………at No Remorse it was like old times…..we each gave as good as we got…..and one thing that was for certain…was we entertained the world. But once again you done what you always seem to do…and that is find a way to leave still the X Division Champion. Now you know we go way back AJ….and I take my hat off to you……you got me. But if you thought it was over…..then you were wrong. You see I have in my hand something of great value…something that I earned at immortality….the MITB broefcase. This gives me the opportunity to cash it in at any time….for a title match at any time I choose. Well AJ…I have held onto it long enough……and not it is time to cash it in….a fortnight from now…..at Revolution….for your X Division Championship! But don’t worry….the fact that on that night you celebrate one year as champion is not lost on me….and therefore I have chosen a match that will mark such a special occasion….a match that epitomes what the X Division is all about…..a match that you and I helped make famous…..and a match will mean if you win it…you will earn the right to still be champion. So I ask you all…please watch the following video….and you will see what is in store at Revolution.” With that everyone’s attention is drawn to the big screen as a video starts to play.

“The X Division is not about weight limits….it’s about no limits……and on this night there shall be no limits……as two warriors leave it all on the line. A champion……..for 12 months he has bared the burden of the gold……overcoming every obstacle that has stood before him. A challenger…….a serious injury overcome to see a return that culminated in an immortal night that put guaranteed money in the bank. Good friends……but better enemies…these two have been and done it all….they have history….they have rivalry….and now they wage their war in the Asylum. At No Remorse…..there was a lucky escape for the champion…..but now both men must make the ultimate sacrifice……they must put their bodies to the ultimate test……as they do battle once more….in Ultrimate X!!” Imagesof the Ultimate X set up then flicker across the screen as a big cheer goes up from the crowd.

Back in the ring we return to Daniels as the video ends. “AJ….no more flukes…no more sly roll ups….nor more narrow escapes. AT Revolution…you celebrate one year as champion…then in Ultimate X….I celebrate being the man who just beat you for the X Division Championship..and that is neither a threat nor apromise….it’s the gospel according to the Fallen Angel!!”

We are then shown a promotional vignette that informs us that UCW returns to PPV, live on Sunday 20^th July 2008, as Meltdown and Infest combine to bring you Revolution.

Backstage we see Christy Hemme standing with John Cena. “John….last week you deifed the orders of Jim Cornette and came to the aid of Sting….and it nearly cost you your job. But with Jeff Jarrett now running the show….can you concertate fully on facing Christian Cage at Revolution?” “Christy…..last week I did what I had to do. I knew what was at stake….but I couldn’t just sit back and watch the Christian Coalition carry out a three on one attack of Sting. Call it arenaline…call it stupidity…but I did what I did…and I would do it again. But I have to admit…never have I been so glad to see Jeff Jarrett!!! But as you say…..last week is done…..now is time to conerntrate on today…and look forward to tomorrow. After beating Tomko at No Remorse…I finally get my hands on Christian Cage…one on one….at Revolution. But before I can focus on that….I have to focus on tonight. Because tonight…I step into the ring with Robert Roode….and whether you love hi or hate him…you can’t deny hus success here in UCW. But tonight…that success comes to a stand still……because tonight…is my night……it is my night to enjoy the fact that I still have my job…and enjoy the fact that Christian Cage will realaise that after watching tonight….his future consists of one thing….FU!” With that he leans over and kisses her hand. “Damn it’s goofd to be me!”” He then makes his exit as Christy blushes.

With both men in the ring, they lock up and a tussle of strength ensues. After neither man seems to move, Snitsky connects with a kick to the gut of Batista. He then hit’s the ropes only for Batista to connect with a clothesline that rocks him back. Batista then hit’s the ropes and connects with another clothesline, but again Snitsky doesn’t quite go down. Batista hit’s the ropes again, but Snitsky react and launges with a big boot. Batista though ducks underneath it and hit’s the ropes one more time, before connecting with a huge clothesline that takes the psycho down. Then as Snitsky gets to his feet Batista fires in with a series of hard rights before then whipping him into the turnbuckle. Batista then follows in with a huge clothesline before backing up. Then as Snitsky comes out of the corner, Batista takes him down with a back body drop. Batista continues to look strong as he vents his anger, but as he attempts a Spear, Snitsky moves out of the way and the Animal connects with the turnbuckle. Then as he stumbles round, Snitsky nearly takes his head off with a big boot. Snitsky then starts to take control of the match, using his power to work over Batista. But as the match progresses, Batista finds his way back into it, trying to prove to himself that he has what it takes. He connects with some hard rights and and then sends Snitsky crashing into the corner. Then as Snitsky stumbles out, Batista hoists him onto his shoulder and connects with a runing power slam for a near fall. But as the match nears it’s end, Snitsky fights hard and tries to set Batista up for a pump handle suplex. But Batista fights back out of it and sends Snitsky off into the ropes before connecting with a Spinebuster, to the delight of the crowd. Batista then violently shakes the ropes before signalling thumbs up…thumbs down. He then pulls Snitsky up and into position, before then delivering the Batista Bomb. He then keeps him in position for the cover, and picks up the three count for the victory. He then celebrates and takes hold of his World Heavyweight Championship…before then taking hold of a mic. “Kane….I hope you were watching. But in case you aren’t convinced……I will do it all over again next week!! And as for whatever stipulation your twisted mind chooses….I say bring it on!!” With that he tosses the mic and makes his way out of the ring.

We are then shown a video filmed earlier in the week, as we see JBL standing outside of a hair salon. He takes alook at the place and then turns to the camera. “Are you sure this is where Petey asked us to meet? Just look at this place….it’s a dive. I can’t go in there…I own suits that cost more then this whole building!” At that moment we see Scott Steiner pull up in a car and get out. “Scott…what are you doing here?” “What am I doing here? I’m busy with my freaks…..and I get a call from Peteysaying I have to get here quick……that little bastard is a pain in my ass. But what about you……this a bit far away from wall street you stuck up piece of trash?” “I will have you know Scott….that unlike you trailer park garbage……there are those of us who prefer a high class way off life….because we are simply better.” “How about you get a taste of reallife…..it’s called me taking my boot…and shoving it up your pompous ass!!” The two men then start to square up when we suddenly hear “Guys, guys…..come on….cut it out.” We then see Petey come into view, and he has had his hair and beard dyed to look just like Scott Steiner. “So what do you think Scott? Now I look just like you!!!” “What do I think????? I think you are finally starting to get it. Maybe you can actually win amatch….and then people will start to look at you as someone to respect….Little Petey Pump!! Now come on….I’ve got four freaks all waiting for a ride on Freakzilla….you can learn how the Bog Bad Booty Daddy really goes to work!!” Wuith that the two get into the car as JBL just shakes his head.

Backstage we then see Christy Hemme standing with X Division Champion AJ Styles and Tomko. “AJ….we heard earlier in the show that Christopher Daniels will cash in his MITB briefcase at Revolution for another shot at your X Division Championship. But he also revealed that it will be in the spectacle event….Ultimate X. Does this worry you?” “I bet you are expecting me to say yes. But I’m not. You see at No Remorse I did exactly what I have always done….and that is beat Christopher Daniels in the middle of the ring. Revolution….that will be no different. As for it being Ultimate X….I made Ultimate X…..so why should I fear anything? In case you have forgotten…at revolution I celebrate one year as champion…..the longest reign in UCW history…and now I get to do it in Phenomenal…style. But Chris…seeing as you are so confident…how about next week you prove to everyone else that you can back up your claims…and face Tomko…one on one? Think about it Chris…….but I bet you say no!!” With that he makes his exit as Tomko steps forward. “Chris….I really hope you say yes….because by the time I a done with you….they will no longer call you the Fallen Angel…….but instead the Broken Angel!!” With that he makes his exit.

‘BREAK THE WALLS DOWN!’ The fans then get to their feet as Chris Jericho appears on stage in his usual pose, before the making his way down to the ring. The ring has been set up for the Highlight Reel, but there are also lots of a balloons, banners saying “Welcome Home” and a table on which is a cake and a bottle of alcohol with two glasses already filled up. As Jericho enters the ring, he picks up a mic. “Welcome….to another edition of the Highlight Reel. But this is no ordinary show….because tonight we are doing things a little differently. Tonight we are having a celebration…..as we welcome back to the Asylum…MVP! So Montel…as you can see the ring is already set up for a party….but it can’t be a party without the guest of honour…so why don’t you come out here and join us!!”

‘TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK!’ After a few moments the music hits and MVP comes out onto the stage, dressed in his Gucci suit and bling, he swaggers down to the ring where Jericho holds the ropes open for him. MVP tentatively climbs through, almost waiting for Jericho to stroke. But Jericho keeps his cool as he gets back on the mic. “Montel Vontavious Porter everbody…..welcome back to the Asylum Montel!!! Now I can tell by your face that you are a little confused….perhaps even paranoid. Well let me lay your mind at rest Montel. You see I could be bitter…I could be twisted…..I could be down right aggressive. But I don’t see the point in harping on about the past. So you screwed me against Robert Roode….but did you not get your comeuppance against Kevin Nash? Now I could be pissed with the fact you have spent the last month travelling around the world insulting my career….but I like to look on the positive side….and so I see it for what it was….free promotion of my book….‘A Lion’s Tale - Around The World In Spandex’. So I have come to realsie…that instead of hating you…I should be thanking you! So here I am…thanking you.” “So you mean to tell me….that all this is to thank me?” “That’s right….I even got you are cake. Go on…try a piece. And if you don’t trust me…I will keep my distance while you eat it!!” Jericho then backs off, and once MVP is certain he is far enough away, he cuts a slice of cake and starts to eat it. “That is good cake…and if it makes you thirsty…why don’t you wash it down with a drink? Now I know you are a classy guy….so I splashed out and got you your favourite….Cristal!!!” MVP finishes the piece of cake he is eating and then picks up a glass, before then gulping it down. “Chris……it may be good cake…and it may be good Crsital…..but what is bugging ,e right now…is you. What is bugging me right now….is the fact that you….just don’t get it.” With that he picks up the rest of the cake and chucks it on the floor…..and then knocks over the table. “You just don’t get why I did…what I did….why I hate you so much.” “Is that so? Well i beg to differ. You see…ten minutes from now….the ex-lax I coated that cake in will start to work….and then you will wonder when you will ever see the outside of a toilet again. And as for the Cristal you gulped down…well when I found the bottle…it was half full….so I had to top it up with some Jerichohol…” With that he then motions zipping up his flies. Upon hearing this, MVP starst to gag,looking like he is set to throw up. “So if you ask me….I would say I get it!!” With that Jericho lunges acorss the ring and connects with a clothesline that knocks MVP down. Jericho then mounts MVP and fires in a series of hard rights before then getting to his feet and pulling MVP up. Jericho then sends MVP crashing head first into the Jeritron 5000. He then stands in wait, and as MVP stumbles up, Jericho runs and connects with the Code Breaker, leaving MVP out cold. Jericho then picks up the mic and stands over the fallen MVP. “Welcome to HELL……IS…..JERICHO!!!”

We are then shown a promotional vignette. We see the following text that reads ‘SHARKBOY 24/7’ Suddenly the screen shatters like glass and we see the image of Sharkboy in his usual attire with an added leather waistcoat walking with attitude through a corridor of an aquarium with fish tanks lined up either side of him. As he walks past them towards the camera, the fish tanks explode behind him. As he gets near we see someone from the aquarium security approach and grab hold of him, but Sharkboy fights him off with some hard rights and then connects with his own version of the Stunner, dropping the guard to the floor. Sharkboy then comes up close to the camera and does his usual fin symbol before then disappearing out of view as we survey the wreckage of water and fish tank stones and ornaments all over the floor surrounding the out cold security guard. The vignette then comes to an end.

Backstage we then see Christy Hemme walking carefully and cautiously through the bowels of the arena, nervously looking around her. “Kane? Kane….are you down here?” AT that moment she turns and lets out a little scream as we see the face of Kane appear from the shadows. “K-K-Kane…….at Revolution you will once again face Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship….in a stipulation of your choice. But the question we all have is….what stipulation have you chosen?” Kane glares at her for a few moments before starting to talk. “To cause a man pain….and suffering…..the process can’t be rushed. In seven days I will name my choice…..and I can guarantee that it will be a choice worthy of holding the end of Batista. It will be one to make Batista hurt…to make him bleed….to make him crumble…..and die. Seven days…Batista……seven days!” With that he starts to laugh heavily, but then all of a sudden stops and pulls back into the shadows.

We then join Mike Tenay & JBL at ringside. “Folks, the night is almost at an end….but we still have our big main event to look forward to. But first we can remind you that at Revolution, we now know that Robert Roode will defend his Number One Contendership against the Icon Sting……..and that AJ Styles will defend his X Division Championship against Christopher Daniels once more…..but this time it will be in Ultimate X!!! Now before we get on with the main event, let us take a look at next weeks show. Batista will continue to prepare for Revolution…as the champion is in action once again…and we now know that next week Kane will announce his chosen stipulation. Plus I am receiving word that Christopher Daniels has accepted the challenge of Tomko…and the two will face off live here in the Asylum next week.” “Tenay…Daniels has signed his own death warrant. There is no way he will be able to overcome Tomko….and that means he will never make Revolution!!” “We shall see John.. But that is next week, now it is time to return our attention to tonight….and out main event…as Robert Roode takes on John Cena!!”

With both men in the ring, ref Charles Robinson calls for the bell to start the match. The two men start to pace around the ring before locking up, and a tussle of strength ensues. Cena though starts to overpower Roode, pushing him back against the ropes. Robinson then steps in and separates them, backing Cena off. Roode then adjusts himself before moving back into the middle. They lock up again, and this time Cena pulls Roode into a side headlock. Roode though pushes Cena off into the ropes, only for Cena to come back and knock him down with a shoulder block. Cena then hit’s the ropes and Roode drops to his chest, causing Cena to jump over him. Roode then gets to his feet as Cena hit’s the opposite ropes. Then as Cena comes back, he launches into a jumping shoulder tackle, that knocks Roode down once more. Then as Roode gets to his feet, Cena rocks him with a couple of hard rights before whipping him off into the ropes and taking Roode down with a back body drop. Roode then holds his back before sliding out of the ring to get a breather, with Michelle coming to help him. Cena though slides to the outside and connects with a clubbing blow, before rolling Roode into the ring. Cena then climbs in and takes hold of Roode, only for Roode to rake his eyes. Cena then stumbles back as Roode gets to his feet. Roode then rocks Cena with a couple of hard rights before whipping him into the corner. Roode then follows up, but Cena moves out of the corner and Roode collides with the turnbuckle. Then as Roode stumbles back, he walks into Cena who takes him down with a Samoan Drop. Cena then waits and as Roode gets to his feet, Cena hoists him onto his shoulders looking for the FU. But as Roode fights against it, Cena is forced to let go as Christian comes charging down the ramp and into the ring. The two then start to exchange blows as Robinson calls for the bell for a DQ. Cena though is coming out on top as he backs Christian up against the ropes, before whipping him off and connecting with a clothesline. But AJ has now come charging down the ramp, with Tomko not too far behind. AJ then jumps onto the ropes and springboards off, only for Cena to catch him. Cena then shows his strength as he lifts AJ onto his shoulders, only to turn round straight into a big boot to the head from Tomko. With Cena down, Christian and Roode join AJ and Tomko, and a four on one beat down begins, to loud boos from the crowd. But suddenly lightning cracks around the arena and a huge roar erupts in the Asylum as the figure of the Icon Sting repels down from the rafters. As he reaches the mat, he quickly unclips his harness and with his trusted bat in hand, connects with a jab to the gut of Roode. He then in turn uses the bat on Tomko, AJ and Christian, before then rocking Roode with a couple of stiff rights. Sting then sends Roode to the outside before ducking a wild clothesline from Christian and connecting with a shot to the gut from the bat. Christian is then sent tumbling out of the ring after Roode. Sting then rocks Tomko with a couple of shots followed by a jab from the bat that backs him against the ropes, before then connecting with a clothesline that sends Tomko tumbling to the outside. AJ then charges at Sting, but as the Icon turns round, AJ changes his mind and puts on the brakes, before then scrambling out of the ring. Then with the Coalition ad Roode on the ramp, Sting lets out a trademark “Wooo!” before checking on Cena who is getting to his feet. Cena and Sting then turn to the four and beckon them in, but they decide to save it and fight another day, backing up the ramp as the show goes off the air.
