UCW Meltdown – June 25 – Wednesday Night
Action Zone
As the opening strains of Guns’ N’ Roses’ Welcome
to the Jungle blast from the screen, we are shown brief highlights from Sunday night’s UCW No Remorse PPV. Samoa Joe
showed his aggression like never before, but it proved to be his downfall, when he locked in the Kokina Clutch against Kurt
Angle after a back-and-forth war, but as Angle grasped the bottom rope with his feet, Joe refused to release the hold, forcing
the referee to call for the bell, ending things in a DQ against Samoa Joe, allowing Angle to escape the clutches of the Samoan
Submission Machine again. Rhino then defeated the Showstopper Shawn Michaels in an exhilarating encounter, with many fast
back-and-forth exchanges, leaving the live crowd gasping for breath, until the final moments, when Rhino kicked out of Sweet
Chin Music from HBK, before taking down the referee with his Gore. Only to walk into another Super Kick, with the referee
down, then eventually taking HBK down with a Gore for the 1-2-3, before Team 3D then retained the Tag Team Titles with help
from Brother Devine, after Brother Ray collected the referee with a wayward swing of a solid steel chair, rendering the official
unsighted as Brian Major slammed Devon through the table, allowing Devine to intervene on his team-mate’s behalf, hitting
Brian with the chair, then changing the scene of the crime to appear like Devon put Brian through the table, leaving the official
no option but to call for the bell, allowing 3D to retain their titles. Then in our main event, Triple H over-came injury
and The Great Khali to triumph, countering several high power moves, including the awesome Khali Bomb itself, while Khali
snapped the sledgehammer handle and rose to his feet from the Pedigree, only for things to spill to the outside as Khali dragged
HHH onto the announce table, looking for another Khali Bomb, when The Game countered with a second Pedigree, driving Khali
down through the announce table, keeping him down for the 10-count, enough to retain the UCW Championship and move to the
next challenge in his reign.
WATCH OUT FOR THE BOMBFALL! Then as Meltdown goes live once again,
following a deafening pyro display and a huge cheer from the crowd in the arena, those cheers instantly turn to jeers when
Team 3D walks out through the curtain, joined by Brother Devine who has both Tag Team title belts hanging on his shoulders,
briefly pausing half-way down the ramp while inciting more hostility from the crowd, then turning and looking back towards
the entrance way. Then with 3D on the ramp, attention now turns towards the main stage and with the crowd jeering once again,
Cornette makes his way into view, smiling broadly and wearing a business suit, holding a clip-board in his left hand, Cornette
quickly makes his way down the ramp, approaching Team 3D and shaking hands with both Brother Ray & Brother Devon, then
finally patting Brother Devine on the back, with the crowd booing even louder, while Brother Ray & Brother Devon enter
the ring, as Bubba calls to the attendant, demanding a mic before the brothers climb to the top of separate turnbuckle-posts,
making ‘3D’ hand signals as Devine enters the ring and opens the ropes for Cornette, who climbs through them and
into the ring. Then with Team 3D still on the corners, making ‘3D’ hand signals and then dropping back down to
the canvas with Devine, smiling broadly and patting each other on their backs, with the crowd booing loudly, the crowd begins
chanting…“3D Sucks…3D Suck…3D Sucks…” louder and louder, but Brother Ray eventually shakes
his head, taps the top of his mic to make a noise, saying…“And once again here we stand, the GREATEST tag team
in the business, simply the best of all time…Team 3D! Now without further ado from you low lives, you unappreciative
scum bags, you people who hate us because we are successful, just stand back and listen to the words of the man who pulls
all the strings in UCW, the man who runs two brands, the man of integrity and business sense, also our friend, our boss and
the biggest reason you bought a ticket to come here, James E. Cornette!” And when Bubba then hands Cornette the mic,
with boos from the crowd growing, Brother Devine hands Devon & Bubba their tag belts, leaving himself empty handed, Cornette
stands silent, covering the mic and thanking Bubba, before the GM begins, saying…“And before I get down to business,
I do believe congratulations are in order, not only that, they are strongly deserved because once again despite astounding
odds, you boys prevailed…You over-came the Major Brothers and retained those title belts, and I’m proud of you.
Especially you Brother Devine, but to show my appreciation, here and now I’m naming you the ‘Team 3D - MVP’
congratulations Brother Devine, you deserve it for your actions in the line of duty at No Remorse. You just stepped up, you
truly became one of the 3D Family that night and you truly earned your stripes, just when the Major Brothers were about to
screw my boys out of the Tag Team Titles they worked so hard for, you did what needed to be done, you took care of business,
Family Business and you changed the course of history forever, but for the better…” And then as the crowd begin
by jeering this news, they quickly break into loud boos, disgusted that Cornette and Team 3D have re-written these events
in their favour, Cornette then begins to laugh, sharing a brief word with Brother Devon and Devine, then handing the mic back
to Bubba who now begins to stroll slowly around the ring, saying…“Thank you Brother Cornette, now on to the next
topic of discussion tonight, namely the NEW number one contenders for the UCW Tag Team Championships, Brian London & Paul
Kendrick…Apparently those are your names, listen up boys…” But before Bubba continues, Devon covers the
mic and whispers something to him, then with Brother Ray seemingly surprised, then after also checking with Devine, saying…“My
mistake, I guess that’s Paul London & Brian Kendrick, like it matters, now you boys seem to be on quite a roll,
you knocked off those immigrants LAX, that’s impressive…nothing we ain’t don’t ourselves, but impressive
none the less. Then you knocked them off again, to become No.1 Contenders to us and our titles. Now that was your mistake
because that got our attention. And you don’t want that, you don’t want to be on our hit-list, not right now.
But in case you don’t understand, UCW website has an article up that reads…‘London & Kendrick…Dare
to Dream!’ Well I’m here to tell you that dreams don’t last, just ask the young Major Brothers, because
they had their own dreams to be the Tag Team Champions at No Remorse, but now they’re currently residing in the ‘were
are they now’ district of Bum Town, Dumps Ville and Losers Lane…But if you both wanna make your dreams come true,
Team 3D says…Why Wait? Why put off until UCW Revolution, July 20 live on PPV, what we can do tonight in the Action Zone…Live
on Meltdown, here and now, boys! That’s right, Jim Cornette and Team 3D have officially sanctioned the match, tonight,
Team 3D vs. London & Kendrick for the UCW Tag Team Titles…so get ready boys, because tonight is the night…not
FOUR weeks time, now, tonight here on Meltdown, so get ready and pucker up because you are now officially in the deep end
of the pool, with the big boys and it is time to sink or swim tonight, either you win, or you lose, there’s no tomorrow,
no Re-Match, this is your one opportunity…No second chances, right Devon?” And then as Bubba hands the mic to
Devon, with Cornette smiling, Brother Devine and Bubba then wait as Devon flexes his neck muscles before then, saying…“Oh
My Brother…TESTIFY!!!” Then with the crowd breaking out in boos, Devon hands the mic back to Cornette, who waits
for the jeers to abate and subside, saying…“And now we’ve dealt with those issues, I have a personal matter
to address, namely in the guise of Samoa Joe! Now Joe, I always thought you were easy going, you never took things personally,
it was always business, but lately I am not so sure, because I heard your comments last week against me, saying I’ve
become a disgrace, that you don’t like the way I run things here. Well now Joe let me think about that, when you injured
one of my biggest assets in Randy Orton, did I punish you then, when I could have? No I did not. I simply found you a replacement
for No Remorse, quite fair I think under the circumstances. Then you claim you want to injure him, claim you want to treat
Kurt Angle just like Randy Orton, you wanted to injure him, then you go out on PPV at No Remorse and you purposely attempt
to do exactly that, you refuse to break on the referee’s count, not once but twice. Then you were DQ’d, which
is what you deserve in that situation, but these people continued to cheer you, even though you showed no regard for the rules
or for the position of the referee. So, my question now is this…Do you think you can get away with this kind of behaviour,
do you think you are above the law, above the rules, you don’t have to abide by them, because you’re special?
Well Joe, if that is the case then I think we have a problem, because you’re no better than all the others on my roster.
You are not above anything, so if you don’t like the way I do business, why don’t you come out here right now,
then maybe we can do something about it, or find you somewhere else to go work…”
JOE’S GONNA KILL YOU! And as attention now turns towards the
main stage, proceedings are interrupted with the familiar entrance music of Samoa Joe sounding, before the Samoan Submission
Machine himself now gradually comes out into view, wearing his wrestling-gear and an official ‘Joe’s Gonna Kill
You’ Meltdown T-shirt, while the crowd chant…“JOE…JOE…JOE…JOE!” as Joe pauses on
the main stage, before slowly making his way down the ramp with an intense expression on his face. And with the sold-out live
crowd chanting his name, Samoa Joe now enters the ring, locking eyes with Cornette and then walking right passed Bubba, Devon
and Devine, shaking his head while the cheers and chants from the live crowd gradually increase, before eventually claiming
a mic and assuming an aggressive stance inside the ring, while the live crowd can sense the tension as Joe looks with a face
etched in disdain, but before Joe can speak, he is confronted by Brother Ray who stops him talking, saying…“Hold
on one second, Joe! You speak only when spoken to, you got that?” And with the crowd jeering even more, Cornette then
nods his head in agreement, saying…“Thank you Bubba, now Joe what seems to be your problem around here, can you
fill me in because I don’t know what you have to complain about in 2008? You have had a great year, you almost won the
RTG Challenge way back in January, then you did win the Four Corners match at Destiny and went on to be part of the Meltdown
Main Event at Immortality and challenge for the UCW Championship belt, then I gave you a Re-Match at Retribution…You’ve
been a fixture on all our events, now I really don’t know why you seem to be unhappy. But since you apparently are,
maybe you want to leave? You want me to find you a place over on Infest this Friday, maybe? Well unfortunately they have a
stacked roster, much like we do here Joe, therefore that won’t be possible but I could grant you a release, allow you
to leave, relieve you of your job, your duties as a UCW Superstar…How does that sound?” And with the crowd jeering
even louder now, while Joe confronts the GM Cornette, Team 3D begin to laugh and joke while Joe tries to remain calm with
the situation, saying…“You know something Cornette, you might be right, I do have a great job, I’ve been
featured on PPV and I’ve been in big time main events all over this country, all over the world, but the one thing I
have never received is a fair and square chance, a 1-on-1 opportunity on even ground against the champ for the UCW Championship!
Now Cornette I know you say I have had chances, but Jim, they have all been tainted, they have been 3 Way matches, Special
Referees, Elimination Chambers and so forth, but what I want…What I need from you is a 1-on-1 chance to prove that I’m
the best! Now as I said last week Jimmy, I can’t stand you and I don’t like how you run things, but I fight for
the respect of these people and they know I always give all that I have, so no I don’t want my release I don’t
want an Infest Contract, I want an opportunity, against the UCW Champion…and I want it right now or I got no business
out here!!!” Then Cornette says…“Firstly Joe, you better take some of the base outta your voice, because
I’m still your boss, ok? Now second, I’m not into giving charitable hand outs, so if you want a UCW Title shot
then you’re gonna have to earn it, the hard way, ok? But first of all you need to be worthy to be the No.1 Contender
and that means, Joe, you have to win…and the last time I checked, you lost your match at No Remorse, against Kurt Angle.
So maybe Kurt Angle deserves to be the new No.1 Contender!” But Joe says…“Well, if that’s the way
you feel Cornette, why am I even out here, why should I listen to what you have to say? But if you think I will just accept
this, you’re sadly mistaken…Because I will run through the Meltdown roster, one-by-one, until nobody is in my
path…I will show No Remorse like I did against Kurt Angle, nobody will stand in my way, because if they do…Inevitably,
They Will Be Broken!” And Cornette says…“Now calm down Joe, there is no need for you to break anyone, just
beat them in a match…The one person you have never beaten in a 1-on-1 match, here in UCW and that is Kurt Angle. But
Joe, your attitude is simply not acceptable, therefore it can’t continue…the level of violence is too big, too
much can go wrong, too many people can be hurt…Do you remember when this issue actually began, Joe, when Randy Orton
retired, but then returned…Well, Randy may not be here tonight, but his influence is…Therefore I have decided
that since you want a UCW title shot, since Kurt deserves one and since I cannot have you in a violent rage on my show, we’ll
solve both our problems…Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe, live here next week, winner faces Triple H for the UCW Championship
at Revolution, on PPV July 20, while Joe this is the great part…If You Lose next week…not Kurt, but only you Joe,
since the only reason you’re here is to champion, otherwise you don’t need to be here, if you lose the match and
don’t get the title shot…You Leave UCW and you go home! You get your contract torn up live on the show and you
bid farewell to these people, then you go home and that’s it…You can still wrestle, but just not here in UCW…”
And when a gasp resounds throughout the Action Zone following Cornette’s words, Joe turns away, with his faced racked
with contempt, before turning back to the GM, saying…“Well now why would I expect anything else from a man like
you Jimmy, why would I expect a fair and square opportunity, an even chance to prove myself, well you know what, Jimmy? Since
this seems like my only chance for a title shot, then since I really have no choice and since it seems to me like a win-win
situation, because if I win I get what I want, but if I lose I am free of you and all your games, then Jim…You heard
it hear first, I do accept those terms…but hear me now, Jim, should you try to screw or swerve me out of my title shot
after I earn it, know this, I’m Samoa Joe…I am UCW Wrestling and by God, you will pay for your crimes!!!”
Then as Joe begins to turn away, receiving dirty looks from all three 3D members, Cornette then coughs to get Joe’s
attention once more, then begins to smile broadly, saying…“Don’t worry Joe, you have my word that there
will be no favouritism here, between you and Kurt Angle, there will be no outside interference from Team 3D, Brother Devine
or any member of my staff…In fact Joe, you will have no excuses, should you fail against Angle next week…You cannot
blame anyone on Meltdown, but YOU…now as for tonight, I feel it only fair to allow you to find winning ways, therefore
you will compete in a warm-up match with…The Great Khali, good luck!” And when Joe hears these words, while the
crowd begins jeering the GM Cornette, Joe simply turns his back and walks away, dropping his mic and leaving the ring, while
Team 3D and Devine begin to smile, with Joe heading back up the ramp, possibly with the weight of the world on his shoulders,
but a huge chance for success, then with Joe turning on the main stage and taking one final look back into the ring, Cornette
turns away, this time holding the ring-ropes wide open for Brother Devine, who steps through and drops to the floor, followed
by Cornette and then Team 3D, while the crowd berate all four men with insults and jeers on their exit from the ring, while
Joe heads back through the curtain, with so much to consider in his near future.
And with Team 3D, Devine and Cornette all making their way
up the ramp together, receiving jeers from the crowd as Bubba & Devon reclaim their Tag Team title belts, raising them
high above their heads and smiling, while we join JR & King at ringside, following yet another intense and controversial
start to things, JR offers to comment, saying…“Well King what a surprise, as we get things underway here on Meltdown,
Cornette and his boys are throwing their weight around again in the Action Zone, when you might have thought they would be
in a pleasant mood after No Remorse!” Then King says…“Indeed JR, but in fact it did seem to start out that
way, didn’t it? Because congratulations were in order after Team 3D retained the Tag Team Titles, not to mention that
Rhino defeated Shawn Michaels in a pure wrestling classic and, The Great Khali came within inches of dethroning the King of
Kings on Sunday, however Triple H rose to the challenge one more time to retain the UCW Title, but, that didn’t seem
to do it for the GM, as Samoa Joe found out in no uncertain terms…” And JR says…“Exactly King and
now the Samoan Submission Machine is stuck, because not only must he face The Great Khali tonight in an apparent warm-up match,
but next week he must either defeat Kurt Angle 1-on-1 for the first time ever in UCW, to earn a UCW Title shot at Revolution
or Joe must leave UCW and go home, King, home…away from the Action Zone, away from these fans and away from his dreams,
because Cornette will tear-up Joe’s contract to wrestle in UCW should he lose…” King says…“I
know…and all because he expressed his opinion regarding the GM, well so much for freedom of speech, does Cornette take
lessons from Hitler or what?” Then JR says…“King, right now I’d take Nazi Germany over the UCW Action
Zone, any day of the week, but unfortunately Samoa Joe does have that choice, next week, whether he likes it or not, he has
accepted the terms because he craves that title shot, therefore next week Joe will face Kurt Angle…No.1 Contender or
Joe Leaves UCW!” King then says…“And as you said, tonight Joe must also face The Great Khali, but, also
coming up tonight London & Kendrick have an unexpected opportunity, JR, they’ll be facing Team 3D for the Tag Team
Titles, I just hope somebody told them!” JR says…“Well that’s also typical King, London & Kendrick
can’t be prepared, there’s no way they would have expected their title shot to come this early, damn it, but I
guess that doesn’t matter…because all Cornette and his 3D Family care about, are that they can keep hold of the
belts for a little while longer, no matter the means, but I hope and pray that London & Kendrick can rise to the challenge,
I honestly do!” Then King says…“Hold on there JR calm down a second, I know it’s hard to shallow,
but coming up right now are two young men who are the main victims of Team 3D, having been in touching distance of the tag
team titles, only to get them stolen back, by Brother Devine…The Major Brothers will look to re-build their careers,
tonight…” Then JR says…“And King, I understand that Brian & Brett have not been reachable, nobody
has seen or heard from them since No Remorse, immediately after the match, they left the arena and haven’t been seen
since. I’m anxious to see how they’re doing, but also interested to see in what direction they turn now, being
out of the title hunt...”
MATCH 1
Cryme Tyme vs. Major Brothers
BROOKLYN, BROOKLYN! And with the Major Brothers now waiting
in the ring, looking more intense than ever and focused on the action, both appearing un-shaven, while seeming to have taken
the events at No Remorse as a hard moment to accept, suddenly the live crowd erupt into a warm welcome, cheering Shad Gaspard
& JTG, returning to Meltdown and drawing great excitement from the fans in attendance, while Brian & Brett show almost
no reaction, such is their focus on the match-up, while JTG & Shad slap the hands of fans seated along the aisle on the
entrance ramp, before entering the ring and receiving a rousing chant from the assembled crowds, saying…“Welcome
back…Welcome back…Welcome back!!!” As the match begins, following the sounding of the bell and with Shad
on the apron JTG begins the match, locking-up with Brett Major and Brett quickly connects with a sneaky kick to the gut, winding
JTG and pulling him into a standing side-headlock. Then as JTG counters, shoving Brett off and into the ropes, Brett careens
back with some great momentum, clattering JTG to the canvas. Brett then receives a mixed response from the crowds, before
hitting the far ropes as JTG begins to rise, before Brett takes him down again, then when Brett tries to repeat this exchange,
JTG manages to avoid further contact, dropping down out of the way before leaping over Brett, before countering the move,
taking him down with a well-timed hip toss, then when Brett springs back to his feet, JTG executes a succession of perfect
arm-drags, taking Brett down again and again, before finally trapping him down on the canvas with an arm-bar submission hold.
Then with the crowd slightly split, JTG gets to his feet and with Brett still held-up, quickly tags in Big Shad who enters
and connects with a huge kick to the mid-section, winding Brett while JTG exits. Shad then sends Brett across the ring into
the ropes, before taking him down with a HUGE back-body-drop, then firing-up the crowd, before reaching down and hoisting
Brett off his feet for a modified side-walk-slam, only for the Major to lash out with a sneaky thumb to the eyes, briefly
blinding Shad, before both take a moment to recover, tagging out, bringing in JTG and Brian Major, then with JTG and Brian
locking-up, Brett quickly applies a standing side-headlock, but when he takes JTG down to the canvas, JTG counters with a
head-scissor leg-vice, forcing Brian to release the hold, but when both men spring up to re-engage things, JTG quickly applies
his own headlock, taking down Brian and avoiding the counter, frustrating both the Majors, with Brett on the apron trying
to energize his brother, while Brian slowly gets back to his vertical base, connecting with several elbows, then shoving JTG
off and into the ropes. But when JTG comes back off the ropes, Brian drops down to avoid contact, taking JTG across the ring
into the opposite ropes, where Brett Major connects with a knee to the back of JTG, impeding his progress, then allowing Brian
Major to quickly take advantage and roll up JTG from behind, gaining a near fall before Shad runs into break the count. But
as the ref berates Shad, leading him back to the corner, Brett & Brian quickly begin to double-team on JTG, taking him
down with a double-arm Frantic DDT and then leaving him on the canvas. Then when the referee returns, Brett Major takes over
as the legal man once again, scoring many near falls on JTG and coming close to a victory, but as things progress, eventually
JTG manages to break away from his opponent and make the hot tag, bringing a fired-up Shad Gaspard into the ring in a rage,
quickly asserting himself, cleaning house on both Major Brothers in quick succession, using his power moves, including the
devastating Big Boot, the brutal running fore-arm elbow smash and, finally with JTG having aided his partner and entering
to nail Brett off the ring-apron, Shad scoops Brian Major up from the canvas and connects with his side-walk-slam, crushing
Brian down on the mat underneath his weight, to received the 1-2-3-count, gaining Cryme Tyme a popular victory on their return
to the UCW Action Zone, while the Major Brothers face yet another defeat and now begin some soul searching, with Brett re-entering
the ring to tend to his beaten brother, Cryme Tyme still remain, offering a handshake and a moment of respect between these
fan favourite tag teams, before Cryme Tyme leaves the ring with a standing ovation from the sold-out crowd.
Backstage we then join JB on foot, in pursuit of Rhino having just
arrived tonight, clearly not wanting to be disturbed but JB soon catches up to Rhino in the hallway, saying…“Rhino,
thanks for stopping now and congratulations after No Remorse, certainly one to savour, with a victory against the Showstopper
Shawn Michaels and, another strong showing since joining Meltdown. But now that match is over and done, what lies ahead for
you, since you had been quoted as saying you wanted Kurt Angle, but Kurt is already booked to face Samoa Joe next week in
a No.1 Contenders Match, where does that leave you? And also are things really settled between you and HBK?” And then
with Rhino lowering his wrestling bag from his shoulder to the ground, appearing calm and relaxed, with time to consider a
response to JB, Rhino thinks, saying…“Well considering I just arrived a minute ago JB, you know more than me,
but right now all I can say about what’s next for Rhino, is the same thing as always, what’s next for Rhino is
the next match…the next opponent, the next challenge and, with No Remorse behind me and Shawn Michaels behind me, I
can now move on, where to I don’t know but I certainly have no hard feeling towards Shawn anymore, after all we are
all in the same business, we all fight to be the best, to win matches, that’s the goal in this business…But when
you beat someone decisively like I did, then it’s fair to say it’s over. And besides JB, I have a match coming-up,
tonight…” Then as Rhino turns away and heads off down the hallway towards the locker room, JB turns towards the
camera and, with the Major Brothers coming towards him, saying…“There you have it JR, Rhino looking to move on
to the next challenge, starting with his opponent here tonight, after what he called a convincing victory, against Shawn Michaels,
while it would be interesting to hear Michaels’ opinion, especially regarding that brief moment where HBK appeared to
have the match won, but…” Then when JB begins to hand back over to JR and King in the Action Zone, with the frustrated
Major Brothers also making their way towards the locker room, saying…“Hold on a second, hey Brian, Brett, another
disappointing loss for you both, do you have any comments to make regarding not only the returning Cryme Tyme, but also the
news that the Motor City Machine Guns will soon be traded to Meltdown, plus with LAX still chasing their Title Re-Match and
London & Kendrick tonight, there seems to be plenty of competition in the tag team ranks, against Team 3D…”
Brett Major says…“You know JB, right now me and my brother need to re-focus, things have been insane since No
Remorse and after tonight, I just don’t know…” Then Brian says…“Listen JB, things go in cycles,
sometimes you win, sometimes not, but no matter what, we do it as a team, you’ll see plenty more of the Major Brothers!”
But at that moment the Majors and JB become distracted by a commotion off-screen, before the camera pans around to see Homicide
& Hernandez of LAX approaching, with Salinas, making their way loudly towards them to confront the Major Brothers, when
Homicide says…“Orale JB, what are you doing with these losers, hey vato, there’s no hard feelings essay,
but when someone screws LAX out of our Re-Match, then it takes us three months to get back in the hunt…You don’t
expect we’d forget, do you? Now we do not discriminate, but the least you could do is win those belts, then maybe we
could take them from you, but no, you couldn’t even do that right, now even though you can’t get another title
shot…You are still showing your faces, so we give you credit for that…But we don’t need you standing in
our way again, because LAX are still in line for the titles after tonight, the winners have been warned, so why don’t
you take a back seat and stay out of LAX business, like good little boys, because if you don’t…the next time we
see you, we gonna take you out, Latino style, Guerrilla Warfare…To Live and Die in LAX…and this is a man’s
world, Brrrrra!!!” Homicide then brushes passed Brett, followed by Hernandez and the sexy Salinas, before JB turns as
the Majors watch every step as LAX heads away and off screen.
MATCH 2
Rhino vs. Lance Cade
And with Cade already waiting in the ring the crowd now erupt with
huge cheers, following the entrance of Rhino, as the War Machine comes out onto the main stage, charging his way down the
ramp and sliding into the ring as Cade quickly bails out, rolling to the outside while Rhino climbs to the top turnbuckle
and beats his chest, yelling…“Who’s the man?” Then when Rhino drops back to his feet on the canvas,
Cade re-enters and the ref calls both men together for final pre-match instructions, before the bells sounds. Then in the
early stage with Cade trying to out-wrestle Rhino, the War Machine is tied-up with a wristlock, then a hammerlock by Lance
Cade, before lashing out with an elbow and breaking free and quickly charging to the ropes, then decking Cade with a running
clothesline. Cade then quickly springs back up, before Rhino knocks him down again and the War Machine begins to dominate,
before Cade eventually uses a sneaky short-cut, raking the eyes of the Man Beast, taking him off-guard and able to earn a
couple of close near-pinning combinations, until Rhino eventually gets fired-up and fights back, building up some momentum
and taking Cade down with a clothesline, followed by a backdrop and then a Spine Buster, for a close 2-count. Then following
several counters from an attempted Rhino Driver, into a backdrop by Cade, then from a quick roll-up back into a Rhino sleeper
hold, eventually Cade breaks free only be flattened by a devastating running clothesline, sending him down. Then with the
crowd on their feet and Cade flat on the canvas, Rhino crouches down in the corner, calling for Cade to get to his feet and
turn around, then when he does Rhino instantly charges aggressively across the ring towards him, making contact and flipping
Cade through 180-degrees, with his brutalising GORE, before making the cover and earning the 1-2-3 as the crowd cheer the
War Machine. But with Rhino having his hand raised in victory, attention turns to the main stage…
I’M JUST A SEXY BOY! The live crowd begin to cheer as Rhino
is distracted, alerted to the presence of HBK from the familiar entrance theme on the sound system, while we see Michaels
making his way out onto the stage with a smile on his face, dressed in a suit and applauding Rhino for his win and the impressive
performance, seemingly impressed, while the War Machine stands aggressively beating his chest, yelling…“Who’s
the man!!!” before HBK claims a mic from his inside jacket pocket, saying…“I’ve gotta hand it to you
Rhino, once again that was extremely impressive, you’re a power-house, no doubt, but I heard what you said earlier to
JB, backstage, and not to be a pain here, but I’ve gotta take issue. You see for as long as I remember, there’s
been a long line of guys just cueing up to take on and take-out, little old me, but since I’m still here I guess old
HBK must have been able to hold his own, also, therefore when you said you beat me decisively and are ready to move on, Rhino,
maybe you are but I’m not. Now, I’m more than happy to put last month behind us, allow bygones to be bygones,
since I have no hard feelings about No Remorse, because when the referee counts 1-2-3, there are no excuses. But just consider
this, imagine you had the match won and referee was unable to count, doesn’t that count? What then? You see, I don’t
blame you for taking advantage of the situation, Rhino, after all I’ve made a career outta that, but if I’m honest…I
had you beaten, big man! You might not remember because you were laid out, courtesy of Sweet Chin Music, but I know it, these
people saw it and I know Good Old JR saw it, as plain as day, so, right now I’m not out here to whinge and wine, I’m
just out here to ask you Rhino, man-to-man for a Re-Match…You and me, 1-on-1 just one more time at Revolution. So what
about it Rhino, I think these people wanna see it, I’m already excited by it, then after we know who is truly the better
man…We can move on our separate ways, but until then there will always be that great question…What would have
happened? You won the match, but I had you beat, now are you confident enough to find out, because HBK is no hard man to find
and I expect an answer from you, next week…” Then with Rhino appearing confused and unsure, he begins nodding
his head at HBK, while the crowd begin chanting…“Re-Match…Re-Match…Re-Match!” at both men, with
Michaels saying…“You know what they think, now the ball’s in your court…” Then with HBK laying
his mic down on the main stage floor, he turns to walk away, leaving Rhino to consider the challenge until Meltdown next week,
as we cut away.
Backstage again we now re-join JB once more, with a relaxed looking
Triple H, carrying the UCW Championship Belt on his right shoulder but seeming in great pain, wearing blue jeans, a leather
jacket and an official ‘King of Kings’ Meltdown T-shirt, saying…“Now ladies and gentlemen, while there
way still be controversy elsewhere, regarding the out-come at No Remorse, there was certainly no controversy here, because
following last Sunday’s event he emerged not only as the Last Man Standing, but also STILL the UCW Champion, people
please welcome my guest at this time, The Game Triple H…clearly still in great pain, but still holding onto that title
belt!” Then Triple H says…“Exactly JB, because like I said last week, like I said Sunday, this belt defines
me, it defines who I am and what I have done in this business and, after No Remorse I am ready to take on all comers…because
I will duck nobody, there is no man I cannot beat and no man I will not humble before me in that ring, now I’ve heard
Jim Cornette make a match and a stipulation for next week’s show, Angle vs. Joe…and the winner faces me at Revolution,
and I say bring it on, but…” Then before HHH can finish his words, he and JB are interrupted by Kurt Angle, stepping
in front of the screen and standing face-to-face with the UCW Champion, saying…“You know Hunter, that’s
really great and everything, you need confidence, but we’ve heard it all before. Everybody who wears championship gold
is confident, but the problem there is they always lose in the end. Now what will you say then, what will be your excuse…Me,
I didn’t need one because I never lost fair & square, because you stole the UCW Title from me at Immortality, just
like a thief in the night, and even though I never got my 1-on-1 Re-Match, I accepted things and I moved on, but it’s
like they say…If you love something, let it go and if it comes back to you, then it’s yours to keep…but
if it doesn’t return, then it was never your’s to begin with, so consider that Hunter because next week thanks
to Mr. Cornette’s decision tonight, after I beat Samoa Joe one more time…I will be facing you for the title at
Revolution, and then I will have my Re-Match and the title we be mine to keep. And then Hunter, after I banish Samoa Joe from
UCW when I beat him next week, sending him home, tearing up his contract to wrestle here, everything will be right in the
world again, with Kurt Angle as UCW Champion, and That’s Real, Hunter…That’s DAMN Real!” And when
Angle turns away, smiling arrogantly to himself and scoffing towards JB, when Angle leaves Triple H looks on with complete
intense disdain, as we cut away.
A promotional vignette then airs, beginning with a view of a wild
western town, complete with sand-covered street, saloon bars and the faint sound of guns fired, before the scenes changes
when the following voice-over begins to tell the tale, focusing on an empty, dust-filled arena surrounded with a battered,
run-down ring, while the scene changes again and we see find James Storm, sat on a lone bar stool, holding a bottle, wearing
a black Cowboy Hat and set against a black back-ground, saying…“I am the Cowboy, James Storm and I was born and
raised in Memphis, Tennessee. From as early as I can remember I only ever wanted to do one thing with my life when I grew
up…and that was drink beer and beat people up. Now from a young age I also watched wrestling on T.V. and it seemed like
the perfect profession, money, women, booze, late nights and bar fights…start everyday with a clean slate, where I lay
my hate’s my home…I travelled up and down the road alone for years, paying my dues, making towns for very little
cash, working for beer money mostly, but then one day I was in the locker room before my match…and this guy walked in,
said his name was Chris Harris and that he and I had been teamed-up on that night!!! Well that was news to me, considering
that’s the first I had heard about either thing, the tag team match or this guy being my partner but I never could turn
down a fight, so I went threw with it and…actually had fun, plus when we came back afterwards, the promoter must have
been pleased too, since he gave me my biggest pay-off ever, up to that point. So we both decided, Chris and Me, not to turn
down a good thing, while the promoter had BIG plans ahead, and America’s Most Wanted was born…” And then
as the picture slowly faces to a blank screen, the following text appears, reading…“Cowboy James Storm…Coming
Soon to Meltdown…to be continue…”
UCW Tag Team Championship Match
Team 3D (c) vs. London & Kendrick
HIT IT! And with the Tag Team action set to continue here live on
Meltdown, following their impressive victory against LAX last week, London & Kendrick enter, coming through the curtain
and down the ramp with confidence and exuberance, eager to show that they can compete with any tag team at the highest level
and win, before sliding into the ring and springing to their feet and sharing a jumping high-5, then both skipping to the
top of separate turnbuckles and then spring-boarding off, flying backwards through the air and landing together on their feet
on the canvas, while receiving a tremendous reaction and response from the appreciative live crowd. Then, as London &
Kendrick stand tall in the ring and accept the welcoming cheers, Team 3D make their way out onto the main stage accompanied
by Brother Devine, with both tag teams titles hung over his shoulders, all three men pause on the stage, observing the challengers
with disdain, before Brother Ray turns to face Devine, patting him on the back and confidently sending him back through the
curtain again, then after Devine hands Devon & Bubba the title belts, he turns and leaves the stage, while Team 3D make
their way slowly and arrogantly down the ramp to the ring, responding to the negative crowd response with sickening gestures
of disrespect, however when Team 3D pause at ringside, London and Kendrick beckon them in, while 3D demand the ref gives them
room to enter. But as 3D turns to the crowd, suddenly London & Kendrick come flying up and over the top rope in tandem,
crashing down on Brother Ray and Devon, taking them down to the ringside floor. Then with the crowd cheering this fast start
to the action, 3D drop their title belts, while London drags Brother Ray to his feet and after a number of stinging chops,
sends him staggering and shoves the bigger man away and into the steel ring-post, while Kendrick, connects with several right
hands and kicks to the gut on Devon, before leading him over to the ring-steps and quickly running up them to the apron, then
connecting with the Sliced Bread move on the floor, taking Devon down hard. And with the referee taken by surprise with these
unexpected events, London enters, rolling a dazed Brother Ray into the ring, with Devon staying down on the floor, while Kendrick
quickly climbs onto the apron and then onto the top turnbuckle-post, when the referee finally calls for the bell to begin
the match and Bubba staggers up, while Kendrick comes flying off the top rope with a spectacular cross body block, taking
Brother Ray down and hooking his leg for a cover, with the referee counting, 1……2……But Bubba kicks
out! Shocking the crowd who could sense a title change, but not wanting to lose momentum, Kendrick drags Brother Ray to his
feet again, connecting with a solid kick to the mid-section, before quickly tagging Paul London, who comes springing over
the top rope into a flying fore-arm, taking Bubba down. Then with Devon slowly coming back to his senses and climbing onto
the apron, London runs to the far ropes and leaps up onto the second, then comes springing off, flying through the air once
again, looking for a high modified Moon Sault on Bubba, only for Bubba to roll out of the way to avoid contact, crashing London
to the canvas, in a heap. Then with both men down and the excitement level now at an all time high, when London and Brother
Ray tag out, this brings Devon and Kendrick into action, while the crowd remains loud as Kendrick quickly out-manoeuvres Brother
Devon, taking him down with several high flying moves, setting up a number of close falls, eventually as the match continues
the experience of Team 3D soon comes through, utilising frequent tags to maintain the advantage and isolating Brian from his
partner. And after being beat down and beat up and taken to school by the veteran Team 3D, Brother Ray then quickly tags in
Devon and they both drag Brian back to his feet, sending him away and into the ropes, but as they charge to follow-up with
aggression, Brian comes flying back off the ropes with a spectacular flying-double-clothesline, grounding both men. Then,
as Brian staggers up, Devon comes at him from behind, aiming a desperate lunging clothesline, before Brian turns and is quickly
able to duck, before coming back with a kick to the gut and attempting to deliver a short-arm DDT, only for Devon to shove
him off into the ropes. But as Devon charges at Kendrick, Brian thinks fast and pulls the top rope down, causing Devon to
sprawl to the outside, landing on the floor, as Brian tags in Paul as Brother Ray staggers back onto his feet. And as Paul
enters and Brother Ray comes charging, London takes Bubba down with a succession of rapid clotheslines, before rocking his
head with an enziguri kick and then backing him into the corner, and taking Brother Ray down with a quick Bulldog, attempting
the cover but only gaining a 2-count. Devon then staggers back to his feet, at ringside while London drags Brother Ray back-up
and, attempting his own DDT, Brother Ray uses his strength to shove Paul London off and away into the ropes, while Devon grabs
London’s ankle as he hits the ropes, causing a minor distraction. Then, as London turns to confront
Devon and Brother Ray gets to his feet and attacks, quickly moving-up behind London and taking him down with a quick roll-up
attempt, 1…2…But London just kicks out! And, as both men quickly spring back to their feet, London quickly grabs
Bubba to connect with the London Bridge, taking him down, making the cover…1…2…3! Giving London & Kendrick
the win to HUGE surprise! And when Brian Kendrick re-enters the ring as the crowd erupt with total shock, London and Kendrick
have their hands raised above in victory by the match referee, before being handed the UCW Tag Team title belts, while the
announcement is made, saying…“Ladies & gentlemen, the winners and NEW…UCW Tag Team Champions, Paul London
and Brian Kendrick!!!” But with London & Kendrick now celebrating, hugging each other and holding the belts high
above, crying great tears of pure joy, attention gradually turns towards the main stage as Jim Cornette makes his entrance,
standing with Brother Devine who can been seen smiling broadly, Cornette observes, watching with a mic in hand as London &
Kendrick celebrate, then quickly begins, saying…“Excuse me, please gentlemen calm down, I have something to announce,
now I really hate to burst the bubble here…But Brother Devine and I were watching, on a monitor backstage and we could
quite clearly see that when the 3-count occurred, Brother Devon was in actuality the legal man and not the man pinned, Brother
Ray, therefore since the footage is quite clear, I am now invoking my GM prerogative here, by reversing the decision…because
after all people, fair is fair, now return the titles, please unless you want to be fired here and now…return them to
the rightful holders!” But as the London & Kendrick turn to face each other, standing in utter disbelief, while
the crowd begin jeering, Team 3D re-enters, coming from behind Paul & Brian, nailing them both in the back of the head,
sending them down with clubbing blows, with their celebrations are now cut short. As Cornette heads back through the curtain,
Brother Ray then begins to put the boots to London, as Devon drags Brian to his feet, before Brother Ray then buries his fist
into Kendrick’s gut, winding the dare-devil, then with the crowd looking on with dread, Brother Devine now slides into
the ring, joining Bubba & Devon in a physical 3-on-2 beat down, on both London & Kendrick, leaving them beaten down
and laying motionless on the canvas, with Brother Ray, ordering the ring-announcer to correct the match result while they
claim the title belts, then with Devine standing between Bubba & Devon, holding the tag team titles high, the deafening
jeers from the live crowd drown out the voice of the ring-announcer, saying…“Ladies & gentlemen, STILL the
UCW Tag Team Champions, Team 3D…” And with London & Kendrick having their dreams realised, but then snatched
away, Brother Ray, Brother Devon & Brother Devine slowly leave the ring as we cut away.
Backstage we now re-join JB, with the Samoan Submission Machine
Samoa Joe, pacing intently back-and-forth, but seeming calm, holding his famous white towel, saying…“Ok wrestling
fans, we are now only moments away from the main event, but considering what occurred only moments ago, Samoa Joe my question
is this, with your UCW career and your current livelihood all to be on-the-line next week, along with those UCW Title ambitions
are you at all concerned by what we just saw, and the potential for foul play? Because with one wrong move, with any interference,
your title chances as-well-as your UCW contract could be gone within an instant, but, you can also not afford a repeat of
No Remorse as even a DQ could spell disaster…” Joe then says…“What, JB? Do you think I’m stupid,
huh, you think I don’t know that, huh? I do and I don’t like it, but have accepted it because it seems like the
only way, while things stay as they are. You see there’s no way I would ever get a title shot, there’s no way
Cornette wants me as champion, just like he doesn’t want Triple H, because we’re not like Kurt Angle or Randy
Orton, we can’t be controlled like them, therefore I was forced to risk it all. Now if Kurt thinks next week will be
an easy ride, then he can think again, as at No Remorse I had him right where I wanted him to be, and next week there’ll
be no remorse, there’ll be no second chances to come my way, and that makes me a dangerous man. Now as-far-as any outside
interference goes, Cornette assured me that will not be an issue and you can be damn sure by next week, I’ll have that
in writing! So the only thing to do now, is exactly what I always do best, and that is walk to the ring, face The Great Khali
and show him who I really am and, with that in mind I’ll be sending a message to Kurt Angle, and then to Jim Cornette,
because I am Samoa Joe, I am UCW Wrestling and Inevitably, He Will Be Broken!” Joe then slings his white towel over
his shoulder and slowly flexes his neck muscles, before turning and marching down the hall as JB seems impressed and we cut
away.
And when the strains of obscure sitar music resound over the arena
sound system and attention turns towards the entrance as The Great Khali strides out through the curtain, without Ranjin Singh
but striding out through the curtain with his usual confidence, we now re-join JR & King at ringside with JR commenting
on the events of the night, saying…“Well here we are King, it’s main event time again but much like Samoa
Joe, I can’t help thinking about next week and the potential that his career could be over, especially after the recent
trend of events going in the favour of Cornette & Team 3D, not least of all tonight when the crowd here thought they had
seen a historical event, when new Tag Team Champions were crowned, only to have the decision reversed, but not only that,
UCW rules state that in the event of such an incident taking place, the referee is within his rights to re-start the match…not
simply reverse the decision, but then again, when you run the show with an iron-fist, things like that don’t matter!”
King says…“Well just ask the Major Brothers about that, they also had the titles won, only to be swerved out of
them and now they are out of the tag title hunt all together, but looking to next week…I think Samoa Joe has bitten
off more than he can chew, because not only has he not beaten Angle, 1-on-1 in UCW, with this match tonight, The Great Khali
will be looking to take his frustrations from Sunday out on someone, and right now Samoa Joe seems like a perfect target.
The way I see things, anyway...” Then JR says…“Well just like all these people, I certainly have faith in
Samoa Joe, but whether that will be enough or not is another issue, with his career on-the-line…” And as The Great
Khali makes his way imperiously down the ramp towards the ring, with the crowd watching in awe, as Khali steps onto the apron
and over the top rope, advancing to the centre of the ring and raising his arms above his head, roaring aloud, Samoa Joe enters
to a rousing reception and hands with white towel to the attendant.
Meltdown Main Event
The Great Khali vs. Samoa Joe
And with the 7ft 3” Punjabi Warrior towering over the
Samoan Submission Machine, the crowd cheers this moment when Samoa Joe tilts his head back, looking upwards, seeing The Great
Khali staring down at him and attempting to intimidate Samoa Joe, before Joe slowly steps away as the crowd begins to cheer,
with Khali not impressed, while Joe runs his thumb across his throat as a signal of his intentions in this match. Then when
the bell sounds and the crowd cheer, anticipating a rugged brawl to ensue, Joe remains still and stoic, keeping his eyes locked
on the mammoth giant Khali, while the Punjabi Warrior begins rubbing his huge hands together with evil intentions, drawing
a boo from the crowd and a sneer from the face of Joe, while tilting his head, again looking directly into the eyes of Khali,
shaking his head at the Punjabi Giant, energizing the live crowd and showing defiance in the face of the Punjabi Monster,
with both men stepping forwards to lock-up in the centre of the ring, but as they do, suddenly Khali lashes out with a mighty
shove, sending Samoa Joe staggering back, before stumbling off-balance and down to the canvas. And as the crowd are shocked,
along with Samoa Joe himself, Khali raises his arms and roars aloud with dominance, before Joe soon gets to his feet and slowly
approaches the Punjabi Nightmare again, only for Khali to again lash out, sending Joe down with another almighty shove, drawing
jeers but also awe from the crowd. But as Joe again gets back to his feet, quickly advancing back towards Khali, Joe aggressively
shoves Khali in the chest, hardly moving the Giant but pleasing the crowd before Khali draws his hand back, swinging with
a HUGE right hand, only for Joe to block this and counter himself, connecting with three huge right hands, which also have
almost no lasting effect, before Khali winds the Samoan with a knee to the mid-section, then lashes out again, grabbing a
handful of hair and connecting with a devastating Headbutt to Samoa Joe, sending him down to the canvas. And with Joe being
dazed, Khali now drags him up, shoving Joe backwards into the near corner, then connecting with another huge knee, before
sending him across the ring into the far corner, slamming into the turnbuckle, then as Joe staggers forwards again Khali connects
with a devastating clothesline, sending him down. And with Samoa Joe down, The Great Khali looks to advance, placing his hands
either side of his head and attempting to apply his deadly Vice Grip, but Joe is able to counter and escape with a kick to
the gut, then hitting the far ropes, only to run directly into another huge clothesline from the Giant, taking Joe down. Khali
then applies his debilitating Nerve Hold to the shoulder muscle of Samoa Joe, keeping him under control on the canvas, but
as the crowd begins to cheer for him, Samoa Joe regains some strength and manages to battle firmly back up onto his feet,
then after a barrage of right hands and elbows to the gut, Samoa Joe breaks free again, hitting the ropes and connecting with
his running shoulder block on The Great Khali, but when the Giant only staggers and does not go down, Joe hits the ropes again,
charging to connect with a running clothesline that staggers Khali back further, followed by a second clothesline off the
ropes, that staggers Khali back even more, but when he turns to hit the ropes once again, Joe charges back towards the Giant,
Khali counters with a massive boot to the face, sending Joe back down to the canvas, clattering the skull of the Samoan and
sending him down to the canvas in a heap and, while the crowd sense the end for Joe, Khali now re-asserts his complete dominance,
striding forwards and again dragging Joe’s head up and off the canvas and slowly clamping his hands around the head
of Joe and applying his deathly Vice Grip, however as Joe fights desperately to escape, before Khali can truly cinch in the
hold, managing to hook his feet around the bottom rope, Khali still continues to squeeze, until the referee begins to count
and with Khali possibly in danger of getting DQ’d, the Giant releases Joe and steps back. Then as Joe gets slowly back
to his feet again, stepping forwards in a dazed state, he is able to duck under a wild swing from Khali, before hitting the
ropes on the far side for momentum, but as Khali turns around, Samoa Joe runs into the signature Hand Chop from the Giant,
sending him down hard. And when Joe’s head bounces off the mat as he goes down, Khali raises his arms, stepping forwards
he places one foot on the chest of the champion, making the cover, with the crowd fearing the end has come, while the referee
gradually makes the count, 1……2……But Samoa Joe kicks out!!! Visibly stunning both Khali and the crowd,
before the Punjabi Giant looks to re-group, rubbing his hands together with intent and, then with the Submission Machine clearing
his head Khali advances, dragging Joe up, the live crowd now hold their breath when Khali drags Samoa Joe back onto his feet,
before throttling him around the throat with both hands and hoisting him off his feet, then holding him in the air ready for
the devastating double-barrelled Choke Slam, before Samoa Joe now lashes out with an aggressive rake to the eyes of the Giant,
briefly blinding Khali and forcing him to release his grip, dropping Joe to the canvas, but when Khali turns away to clear
his vision, with Joe landing back on his feet, before stumbling and falling to the canvas, Joe soon clears his head and re-focuses,
getting to his feet and turning to hit the ropes, connecting with a HUGE clothesline, rocking Khali backwards in a dazed state-of-mind.
Joe then sees his one chance, backing into the ropes again and charging towards Khali, careening at high speed, clattering
into Khali with a huge running clothesline, staggering the Giant on his feet. And with the crowd alerted with hope, the Submission
Machine turns to hit the ropes, building momentum and again crashing into Khali with a HUGE running clothesline, staggering
the monster further. Then with the crowd sensing a change in momentum, Joe now hits the ropes and then charges again towards
the dazed Punjabi Warrior, ducking underneath a wild swing from the monster before stopping still in his tracks, then when
Khali quickly turns to confront him, Samoa Joe turns and steps forwards, leaping to connect with a HUGE jumping kick to the
head, rocking Khali on his heels, before Joe takes advantage and connects with several well-placed kicks to the legs, really
staggering the Giant before attempting an arm-whip, but Khali still reversed it, sending Joe across the ring, but with Khali
now slower to move, Joe has him scouted, ducking underneath a wild swing from the monster before stopping still in his tracks,
once again and before Khali can turn, Joe quickly leaps and grabs Khali on the throat, clamping his arms tightly around his
neck from behind and leaping up, onto his back, attempting to cinch in the Kokina Clutch and with Khali standing on un-steady
legs, unable to hold the weight of Joe on his back, he eventually collapses onto his knees, then Joe quickly drops backwards,
applying a leg-vice body-scissors onto Khali, while locking in the Kokina Clutch with an added intensity, down low on the
canvas. But with Samoa Joe having The Great Khali on the miraculous verge of tapping out, attention turns to the main stage
when Kurt Angle comes down the entrance ramp, making his way to ringside, dressed to compete, then quickly sliding into the
ring, immediately going on the attack and connecting with several hard boots to Samoa Joe, ending the match in a DQ. Then
when the referee instantly calls for the bell to end it, Joe releases the Kokina Clutch on Khali under attack from Angle,
as Khali rolls away, recovering from the effects while Angle now mounts Joe down low on the canvas, connecting with several
violent right hands. Joe though quickly begins to fight back, when Angle attempts to apply the Ankle Lock, giving Joe time
to lash out strongly, kicking Angle off and sending him stumbling away, but when gets back to his feet, limping across the
ring to confront Angle, Kurt is able to quickly duck behind Joe, then taking him down with a German Suplex. And then with
Khali back on his feet,
Kurt Angle now slowly drag his limp frame up to his unsteady feet,
holding him up, while The Great Khali turns his head to look out at the crowd, then raising his hands, rubbing them together
with evil intentions and taking one step forward towards Joe, then placing his massive hands on either side of his head, around
Samoa Joe’s skull, gripping tightly and applying his vicious Vice Grip and beginning to squeeze hard…
TIME 2 PLAY THE GAME! Attention suddenly turns towards the entrance
way, while the Action Zone is bathed in a dark green glow, as the crowd now erupts, welcoming the arrival of Triple H with
a deafening ovation, as Khali turns his head, releasing his grip on Samoa Joe and shoving him to the canvas, to Angle’s
disgust, when we see Triple H emerging from the back and coming out onto the main stage, dressed in casual jeans with an official
King of Kings T-shirt and black leather jacket, with a particularly intense attitude about his entrance, The Game begins to
advance. And with The Game now coming down the ramp, removing his black leather jacket, tossing it aside in a furious rage
and arriving at ringside with dripping wet hair, without hesitation HHH slides into the ring as Khali quickly advances towards
him, beckoning The Game to come forwards and meet him, raising his arms into the air, then roaring aloud, only for HHH to
take advantage, quickly kicking Khali in the gut, winding the Giant and doubling him over before instantly going on the offensive,
connecting with a barrage of several vicious right hands to the head one after another, rocking Khali backwards into the ropes,
before attempting an aggressive arm-whip, only to be reversed and sent across the ring himself and away into the far rope.
But, when Khali steps forward and swings a HUGE clothesline, HHH quickly ducks it, while keeping his momentum and hitting
the far ropes. Then as Khali turns around, Triple H comes charging back toward the Giant, then leaps to deliver a patented
Harley Race-style High Knee, connecting firmly and squarely with the chest of Khali, staggering him back and off-balance.
The Game then quickly hits the ropes again, charging with a HUGE running clothesline and connecting with the staggered Khali,
sending the Punjabi Warrior into the ropes and then tumbling up, over the top rope, then down to the floor at ringside, but
landing on his feet. And as the crowd cheers, Kurt Angle once again attempts to apply the Ankle Lock to Samoa Joe on the canvas,
only for Joe to find deeper reserves of strength and again, lashing out with his legs, Joe sends Kurt staggering back into
the ropes, before getting to his feet and charging, sending Angle up and over the top rope and landing in a heap back down
at ringside, next to Khali. And with Khali and Angle backing away up the ramp towards the back, down in the ring Samoa Joe
and Triple H stand side-by-side, in an intense stand-off, with both men seething with rage and receiving huge cheers from
the live crowds, before then slowly turning to stand face-to-face, as the cheering becomes even louder, while Triple H &
Joe give each other grudging respect, as the show comes to an end, with JR saying…“Ladies and gentlemen, you are
not gonna want to miss next week, because either Samoa Joe beats Kurt Angle for the first time, to earn a title match, otherwise
he must then leave UCW and have his contract to wrestle here, torn up…”
